Chapter 50: Confrontation

"Hanagaki!" Hokuto said as he opened the door. "Eh? Hidaka-senpai, Akehoshi-senpai and Takasaki-senpai? Why are you here in our room?" Tsukasa asked. "...We heard from Kazehaya-senpai! That you're here!" Hokuto said.

...Tch that damn priest...stop being a busybody and tell everyone about my location Kazehaya Tatsumi! This is one reason why I hate you so much! Shiro thought with irritation. "...And then? Now that you found me what are you planning to do?" He then asked with a sigh.

"...About that we wanted to talk to you." Hokuto said. "...Talk? About what?" Shiro asked. He already knows what they want but asked just in case. "Obviously about yesterday." Hokuto said. Of course it's about that why did I even bother to ask? Shiro thought with a sigh.

"....Ren isn't with you guys?" He then asked. "N-Nope..He said that...he had something..to do..and asked us....to go ahead and find you....without him..." Ito said. "Is that so?" Shiro said. "Don't dodge the situation Hanagaki!" Hokuto said.

"What are you talking about? We haven't even started talking about it." Shiro said. "Mou Hokke stop wasting time and let's say it already!" Subaru said. "R-Right...Ahem. Like I said we're here to talk about yesterday. And also we want to talk about how you can stop being so selfless and start depending on others!" Hokuto said.

"...Har?" Shiro said. "You heard me. Stop. Being. Selfless." Hokuto said. "...iiya why did you say it one word at a time?" Shiro asked. "Because it's important." Hokuto said. "Going back to what I was saying I want you to stop being selfless and rely on us. You're not alone. You may not realize this but we've got your backs." He added.

"Ah hai hai I'll have to stop you there for now." Shiro said. "Shirochin?" Subaru asked. "Just you know I had a feeling you're going to tell me that. After all it's the third time today I'm hearing this. First Kazehaya Tatsumi and Himeru. Next is my roommates. And now it's you guys. I feel like I'm being lectured for a lesson that I'm not really interested in." Shiro said.

"Wha-?!" Hokuto said. "I'm not saying what you're doing is boring me. I do appreciate your consideration but just this one time I can't allow anyone else to interfere. This was originally my problem. Of course I'm not saying I don't completely need help. Without Kazehaya Tatsumi pulling me here I wouldn't have come back. But I ask of you to please not get involved. But don't worry thanks to these guys I'll remember to at least ask for help if I need it. Just not right now." Shiro said.

"W-Well...as long as you understand." Hokuto said. "If you're done then leave. I'm tired because of what happened today." Shiro said with a sigh. "Ah o-okay...K-King are you going to come to practice...tomorrow?" Ito asked. "Yep. I didn't come today so I'll make up for it tomorrow." Shiro said.

"O-Okay...!" Ito said. "Then see you tomorrow Shirochin! We gotta make sure you come for the practice!" Subaru said. "Don't come! The hell are you my dad?" Shiro said as the rest laughed. Ah...this atmosphere is somehow...nostalgic...Fufu...Ito thought. Hokuto, Subaru and Ito then left the room. "....Haaaa it's not even night yet and I'm already tired." Shiro said.

"Ahaha....good work today Shiro-dono." Shinobu said. "...My bad Sengoku can you get a cup of coffee for me?" Shiro asked. "Of course! Just wait a moment-degozaru!" Shinobu said as he rush out to get a cup of coffee.

....Well what I said about relying on them if I need to was a damn lie. If I don't trust others other than Ren and Ito in the first place why would I even bother asking for their help? That includes my roommates. True they're innocent kids from what I can see but that's why I can't trust them as well. I can't judge a book by its cover after all. Shiro thought.

"I'm back-degozaru!" "Oh welcome back Shinobu-kun!" Tsukasa said. "Here Shiro-dono!" "Ah thanks Sengoku." Shiro said as he receives the cup and drinks it. "And then? What are you going to do now?" Tsukasa asked.

"Hmm...Let's see. I would want to get some singing practice done since I didn't attend today's meeting." Shiro said. "Since 𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 have no job today let me join you!" Tsukasa said. "Hasumi-dono and Kiryu-dono have their own solo jobs and as I don't have one at the moment I would like to join as well!" Souma said.

"RYUSEITAI does not any jobs at the moment either so allow me to join you-degozaru!" Shinobu said. "....Well I don't see why not. You guys did help me and all. I'll repay the favor by letting you join me in my practice. Be grateful for this." Shiro said with a little smirk.

"Oya? Is that supposed to an impersonation of Oogami-senpai?" Tsukasa said. "Ahem." Shiro said with a little bit of embarrassment. "Come on I hate wasting time so let's go already." He added. "Hai!" The other three said as they head to a lesson room.
