17 | Too Much or Fabulous

 

BEN MADE IT TO THE END OF THE STEPS WHERE THE VK'S AND REY WERE WAITING FOR HIM. Rey had made it back before Ben did. "So? Where's Willow?" Evie asks, hoping that at least one of her friends would return with them.

    "She's not coming back." Ben told her, walking past them.

    "i'll talk to them." Evie says, but Ben ignores her and continues walking while Evie speaks into a type of microphone that led straight up to where both Mal and Willow was. "Mal? Willow? Guys, it's Evie. Let me just talk to you guys for a second. Please," Evie says, not getting an answer out of neither one of them.

    Mal leaves Willow on the floor and gets up, stomping over to a wall where the microphone ended. "Go way!" she yelled into it.

    "Let's give them a couple of hours to cool off." says Jay, gripping Evie's arm gently.

    "Guys," Rey says, not seeing Ben anywhere. They turn to him, "Where's Ben?" A figure is walking toward them and they assume it's the King, "Ben! Ben, don't scare us like that," Evie sighed heavily.

    "Don't scare you?" The figure turned out to be Harry Hook, "That's my specialty."

    "Harry." Evie lowly growled.

    "What did you do with Ben?" Jay asks him.

    "Oh!" Harry turns toward the alley way and points, "We nicked him. Mm-hmm. Yeah, uhm, and if you want to see him again," he says, turning back of face them, "have Willow come to the Chip Shoppe tonight. Alone. Uma wants a little visit," he looks at Jay and pouts, "Aw, Jay. Seems like you've lost your touch."

    Jay lunged at Harry but Rey was there to stop him, "Jay," he grunted. Harry laughs and then looks at Carlos and barked before turning and walking away. All while whistling.

   

    WILLOW BEING FURIOUS, WAS A TOTAL UNDERSTATEMENT. She was pissed, "If you guys hadn't brung him here, this would have never happened," she told them. They could almost see the steam coming out of her ears. Mal did her best to avoid contact with Rey, "What were you thinking?" she shouted at her four friends who stood before her.

    "He was gonna come with or without us," Evie tells
her, "We just wanted to protect him."

    "Yeah, and we completely blew it." Carlos says.

    "Okay, so what are we gonna do?" Jay asks them.

    "We aren't going to do anything," says Willow, "This is between Uma and me, and she's a punk. And guess what, now I have to get him."

    "Whoa, whoa, whoa," says Carlos, "Willow, you're still gonna have to go through Harry Hook and his wharf rats."

    "Yeah, you're gonna need us." Jay adds.
