After witnessing everything, Akshara thought, "Sitting here is so boring. Why not take a tour of the hospital? I might as well explore while I’m here."
She decided to wander around the hospital. As she walked through the halls, she observed a young child who was scared of getting a shot.
Abhimanyu, who was nearby, gently reassured the child, "Don’t worry, it won’t hurt. I promise, it will be over quickly. You’re very brave."
Seeing Abhimanyu’s compassionate approach, Akshara smiled and thought, "It’s amazing how he still handles everything with such care."
As Abhimanyu moved from one patient to another, Akshara found herself quietly trailing behind him, her eyes never leaving his figure.
She watched as he knelt down to comfort a frightened child, his voice soft and reassuring. The child's tears dried up almost instantly as Abhimanyu's kindness reached out to him.
Akshara couldn’t help but smile, her heart swelling with an emotion she had long tried to bury.
Tu aata hai sine me jab jab saanse bharti hu...
The song echoed softly in her mind as she watched him with admiration. "How can he be so good with everyone?" she thought, her eyes following his every move. "He’s not just a great doctor; he’s a wonderful human being. How did I ever let him go?"
Abhimanyu then walked over to an elderly patient who was having difficulty sitting up. With gentle hands, he helped the man, speaking to him with such respect and warmth that the old man's face lit up with gratitude. Akshara felt a lump in her throat.
...hawa ke jaise chalta hai tu, main ret jaisi udti hu...
"He’s always been this way," Akshara mused. "His presence alone can calm anyone. How can I deny how much he still means to me?" Her thoughts were conflicted, torn between the love she still harbored and the fear of getting hurt again.
...meri nigaahe hain teri nigaho ki...
Akshara sighed, feeling her resolve weaken. "Maybe… just maybe… I can’t keep hiding this anymore," she thought, as she watched him. Every smile, every kind word he offered to the patients made her fall for him all over again. But fear still clung to her heart, holding her back.
...kaun tujhe yu pyaar karega jaise main karti hu...
"How can he not see it?" she wondered. "How can he not know how much I still care? But what if I tell him and things go wrong again?"
As Abhimanyu finished up and moved on to his next task, Akshara remained where she was, lost in her thoughts. The lyrics of the song that played in her heart mirrored the silent battle she was fighting within.
She knew that her love for him was still strong, but she also knew that revealing it could change everything. And so, she stood there, torn between the desire to speak her truth and the fear of the consequences, while the silent song of her heart continued to play on.
GOENKA VILLA
While playing, Abhir wandered into the storeroom of the Goenka Villa. As he explored the dusty corners, he came across a box filled with old photos. Curiously, he opened it and was shocked to find pictures of Akshara and Abhimanyu's wedding.
The little boy’s eyes widened in confusion as he looked at the photos, unable to understand what he was seeing.
