Abhimanyu stormed out of Birla House, his mind still spinning from the confrontation with Manjari. His heart was heavy, weighed down by the revelations and the poison that had been spread not just in Abhir's life, but in his own. He needed air, space, something to calm the tempest brewing inside him. Without thinking, he drove off, the road ahead a blur of green as he sped toward Goenka Villa. The trees lining the road flew by, but his mind was stuck in the past, lost in everything that had gone wrong.
He turned on the music system, hoping it might soothe the chaos within him. But the universe had other plans. The song that started playing was one of Akshara's latest releases-her voice filling the car like a bittersweet echo from a time long gone.
Tum Kaha Hum Kaha Fasle Darmiyan
Phir Bhi Dil Sun Raha Tere Dil Ki Sada...Her soulful melody struck deep, each note a reminder of the love they once shared and the distance that now separated them.
Manzilen Mil Gayi Karwan Kho Gaya
Socha Kya Tha Magar Kya Se Kya Ho Gaya...The lines felt like they were written for them, for their shattered love story. Abhimanyu's grip tightened on the steering wheel as memories of their happiest days flashed in front of him-the laughter, the teasing, the stolen moments of love.
"Akshu," he whispered to himself, her name barely escaping his lips. His eyes welled up with unshed tears as the music continued to play, triggering a flood of memories.
Yaad Aaye Bohut Aaye Apni Dil Dariyan
Tujhse Roohdaariyan Roohdaariyan...The lyrics pierced through his heart, reminding him of the connection they once had, a bond so deep that even now, despite everything, he couldn't let her go.
"Maybe you'll never forgive me, maybe we'll never be together again, Akshu," he muttered bitterly. "But still, I will always stand as your shield, your protector, even from afar. That's my promise to you. And to myself."
The song continued, but all he could think about was Akshara. He had broken her heart, and maybe she could never be his again. But even if they were miles apart, even if fate had driven a wedge between them, his love for her was unwavering.
"I will always love you, Akshu, even if it's from the shadows."
As the song faded out, Abhimanyu took a deep breath. He wasn't sure how things would end, but one thing was clear-his love for Akshara would never fade. Not now, not ever.
Abhimanyu somehow made his way to Goenka Villa, his mind still clouded with thoughts of Akshara. As he walked inside, he noticed everyone sitting in the living area, and to his surprise, Abhir was there too. The moment Abhir saw him, his face lit up, and he ran toward him with excitement.
"Docman! You came to meet me?" Abhir exclaimed, hugging him tightly.
Abhimanyu smiled and ruffled his hair. "How could I not? I promised you, didn't I?"
Abhir grinned. "Since you're here now, come to my room! We'll play together!"
Abhimanyu, still scanning the house for Akshara, realized he couldn't see her anywhere. "Abhir, why don't you go ahead and take out your toys? I'll be up in just a minute, okay?"
Abhir nodded enthusiastically. "Okay, but don't take too long!" he said, before dashing off upstairs.
Once Abhir was out of sight, Abhimanyu turned toward Kairav, concern etched on his face. "Where's Akshara?" he asked, trying to keep his voice calm.
Kairav sighed and replied, "To avoid upsetting Abhir or causing any more trouble, Akshara has left the house."
Abhimanyu's heart sank. "She left? What do you mean she left? Where did she go?"
