"Wow, Eren." His voice covered up with a soft yawn coming out of his mouth. "Is this what you call 'aftercare' nowadays?"
You looked up at the unfamiliar figure before you, only to discover that it was Armin. Startled, the realization hit you that he shared a dorm room with Eren.
"Wait." You said as your eyes squinted a bit, looking back and forth between them. "You two are roommates?" You questioned as you pointed at both of them.
Armin smiled as he heard your words, leaning onto the door. "Oh, you didn't know?" Armin said as he walked over to the kitchen, grabbing a cup. "We've been roommates for a while now." Armin said as he looked over to Eren, whom wasn't even paying attention.
You didn't really think much of it. It was pretty common for unusual duos to pair up for dorms. You brushed it off as you slowly nodded at Armin, acknowledging his reply.
"Anyways, I think I'm going to go." You announced loud enough for Armin and Eren to hear. As you were about to pack up your things, you felt a hand on your shoulder.
"Leaving already?" Armin said as he leaned in a bit closer to your face, his smirked widened as he gazed upon your eyes, taking in every detail you had painted on them. Your eyes slightly widened as you felt your cheeks get a bit warmer at his closeness. "Yeah, I should probably get going." You said as you looked towards the clock. "It's getting a bit late."
He smiled as he escaped from your warmth. "Then, I'll walk you back." Armin said as he slid on his black slides. You were a bit taken back at his response, but you weren't in the situation to pass it up. "Oh, sure." You said as you began rushing your things into your backpack.
You glanced over to Eren, giving him a slight nod in which he just looked away, filling you up with a sort of unease as how he didn't even acknowledge you a bit. You sighed before getting up and making your way over to Armin. "All set?" Armin asked as he glanced back at the area where you were sitting in, making sure you didn't leave anything. You nodded in which he unlocked the door, and the two of you stepped out and closing the door behind you.
Armin walked beside you in a relaxed manner as his hands slid comfortably tucked into his pockets. His eyes remained fixated forward, as he walked you to the elevators. "So, was this your first time seeing Eren?" Armin broke the silence as he asked you a question in a genuine manner.
"Oh, no." You said as you hesitated a bit. "I actually met him while he was working at the coffee shop with Connie." You said as you tried to explain to him. Armin raised his eyebrow at you while he shot you a confused look. "Eren doesn't work at a coffee shop?" He said as his tone grew curious.
"What? Yes he does? I literally seen him there." You said as you began growing confused as to what Arnin was talking about.
Armin pushed onto the elevator button as he wondered about what he should say to you. "Ah, maybe he didn't tell me." Armin said as he looked over to you.
As you two stepped into the elevator together, you couldn't help but wonder. "I mean, doesn't it seem odd? I thought you guys were best-friends. Why would he hide his occupation from you?" You questioned Armin.
Armin sighed as he hit your floor's button. "Sucks to be the last person to find out." He said as he shot his eyes on you. "Uh, why are you staring at me? What secrets are you keeping from me?" You chuckled nervously as Armin's gaze lingered on yours, rising up suspense.
