Eren annoyingly rolled his eyes at you and massaged his forehead in annoyance as he heard you talk. Suddenly, his demeanor began to shift as he looked straight ahead, but not at you. It was almost like he saw a ghost. Without a warning, he pulled you into the elevator with him, drawing your body close to his. In that moment, you could feel his warmth of his embrace, his grip on you strong and protective. Eren took off one arm around you and spammed the close button that was on the elevator buttons list in a incredibly fast and powerful motion. You snuck your head out of his chest and turned around to look at what drove Eren to the point where he had to physically pull you into the elevator, and there you saw Jean running towards the elevator in a panic yet terrifying manner. The elevator's sliding doors closed in a motion that felt like forever, but luckily closed by the time Jean could make it in.

"Why was Jean going after us?" You asked, your voice filled with anxiety and fear for your safety. "He found out that you've been providing me with a place to stay, and tracked down my laptop that was in your dorm room." Eren started, "He's after both of us." Eren declared as his tone was low, but loud enough for you to hear him, which echoed through your ears. Hearing that made you feel all kinds of ways. You couldn't help but be mad at Eren, but also feel some type of comfort being in his warm grasp. "Why did you put me in the middle of this?" You protested with frustration as you gently moved away from his grasp, looking at him with anger and confusion.

"I didn't mean to put you in danger. I just needed a place to stay for a bit, and you were the only person who I could trust." Eren's tone turned serious as he replied to your question. "You don't even know me enough for you to trust me. Why me?" You retorted, trying to make sense of this unusual situation. "I'll explain all of this later. But now, I have to get you to safety." Eren pleaded as the elevator doors opened up, for the two of you to step out. Eren firmly held onto your hand, and began running as fast as he could to his car without looking back. In a discreetly quiet parking lot, Eren's black sleek Porsche was parked, barely noticeable to the naked eye. Eren opened the passenger door for you to go inside, and went around to sit in the driver's seat. Eren leaned forward in his seat to carefully fasten your seatbelt around your waist, tugging it into the buckle holder.

"I can do that myself, you know." You said as you kept watching over your back, hauntingly moving as you made sure Jean wasn't close by to you two. "I know you can." Eren replied as a hint of playfulness slipped out in his tone, despite the situation he's in. "I just want to make sure you're safe." He glanced over to you, noticing your constant watch over your back. "He won't find us here." His expression softened as he turned on his car, and immediately started to drive off recklessly, but smoothly.

The rest of the drive to wherever Eren was heading to was silent. You were trying to arrange your feelings on whatever was even happening. Everything felt like it was moving too quickly, making it difficult for you to unfold such events that were taking place in your very eyes. Eren gave you the occasional glances of making sure that you were alive, but at that time, you didn't feel a muscle. Everything was just moving too fast for you to even feel your bones. Eren drove far away from campus, and what looked like his own house. His house was a grand, dark-academia style house with a facade of stone and brick laminating the whole plot. The property was situated on a sprawling estate, surrounded by expensive gardening and a large parking space for multiple cars to fit inside. The entire house was eerie, but yet inviting.

Eren pulled up to a man who was in a suit and tie, and looked like he hated his own life. "Park in G-12, alone." Eren commanded before exiting the car, tossing the keys over to the man. Eren then walked around to your door, opening it for you and letting you step out. "Where are we?" You asked, still trying to gather up your thoughts. "My house." Eren replied as he glanced over to you in a playful manner, clearly bragging about it. "This is your house?" You asked, taken by surprise as you took in every detail of his property. Eren feeling gassed by your impression on his house, and opened the front door to let you inside.

"It's beautiful." You muttered under your breath, eyes widened as you took in the luxurious interior and space that the house contained. The entrance hall was filled and adorned with beautiful and elegant decoration. "I know." Eren said as he looked over to you, with a smirk on his face as he watched your reaction to his place. "Anyways, you'll be staying upstairs, in my room." Eren confidently said as he turned to look over you, yet you were frozen in place. "Your room?" You muttered out as the idea of staying in Eren's room felt far from comfortable.

"I'm joking. You'll be staying in the guest room." Eren confirmed as he began to walk up the large flight of stairs, gesturing you to follow up with him. The upstairs was as beautiful as the downstairs was, with paintings on every empty space filling the walls which gave the house a perfect view to it. "Here's your room." Eren said as he opened up the door, revealing a beautiful room with a view that was to die for. The walls were painted a warm-toned color, while a large queen-sized bed was touching the walls which led to a beautiful desk with collections of books to keep you entertained for a millennia. The luxurious decorations hugged the room, and details of art were shared all over the room as you continued to explore your surroundings.

"Get some rest, It's been a long day." Eren suggested as his tone softened sightly. "You can freshen up if you want to, the bathroom is over there." He pointed to a door that was connected to the bedroom, leading to an attached bathroom. "Care to explain all the details leading up-to whatever is happening to me now?" You confronted Eren, catching him right when he decided to be vulnerable.
