Harry Styles

He shot.

Two times.

Two bullets.

But nothing happened.

Stewie's laughter filled the tiny room. He was laughing hysterically as if someone had just said the best joke ever.

I dared look around.

Two bodies that belonged to two guards.

I couldn't help but break character and chuckle as well. I glanced at Alexa, who had untied her hands, that only now I realized they weren't even actually tied, and now she was untying her legs. There was a smirk on her face. Clark and Alex seemed clueless and I couldn't blame them.

"Idiots," she mumbled as she walked to Stewie and snapped his gun. He pointed it at Clark and then at Alex confidently. Now it was their chance to laugh. "You have a gun. So what? What are you gonna do?" Alex teased her.

"I have a gun but most importantly... I know how to actually use it." She changed the direction of the gun and shot twice. The two remaining guards fell to the ground dead. They both had a brand new deep red mark right in the middle of their forehead. "Twenty-five, twenty-six." She seemed relieved as she spoke the two numbers.

"Oops. I just killed them." She turned to Benji and Kiara. "Just like Cecile, your boyfriend -", she locked eyes with Clark again, "- Archie, two of the new Devil's men, Ted Williams, deputy Reynolds. Twenty-six people in total."

So it was her! She killed Archie!

That wasn't part of the plan but I couldn't blame her. She had gone through too much due to that sick bastard. He was all hers. I was just spending my time and playing with him.

"Yes, you bad bitch! You showed them how it's done, blondie!" Stewie clapped his hands in excitement. "The best killer reveal in history! Did you see it coming?"

No.

I did not see it coming when I first found out, weeks ago.

It's one thing hearing that your girlfriend loves you and another finding out that she's a serial killer but the surprise is the same.

My girlfriend, my Alexa, the sweet girl who wanted to help people was a serial killer. Of course, I didn't see it coming at first. When she said that she had a devil inside of her I never thought that she would be the Devil.

But then I found some camera footage from Harvard that had colour and noticed one tiny detail that changed everything.

Her hair were brown. Dyed brown.

And then all the memories came back. It was the day I found out that I was sent to kill her.

I mean, I remembered having a... thing or whatever it was with a target back in the day, but I didn't remember it was her, just like she didn't remember it was me. We were completely different people back then and, most importantly, either drunk or high... or both.

But then we somehow ended up together again. You can call it fate but I call it Clark. That dick wanted us both. It was about time before we crossed paths again, this time sober.

"You killed Archie?" Out of all the things she said that was the only one that seemed believable to Alex. It's not that he thought she was lying – he was in Harvard as well, after all – but it was hard to accept that a tiny doctor was the most cruel serial killer of the twenty-first century who had somehow managed to play them all.
