Shubi was back from Zimbabwe series. He was in the team hotel for some practice matches in Mumbai. Some of the teammates were with him. Shubi wanted to meet Ishan. He couldn’t go out as the team responsibility was with him. He decided to call Ishu.

After few failed tried Ishu picked the phone.

Ishu – Hello

Shubi - What took you so long to pick
Shubi started to complain

Ishu - Oh its you. Why did you call

Shubi - Are you busy

Ishu - No why

Shubi - You’re talking in hurry. I called to ask you to meet me

Ushu - Where are you

Shubi - In Mumbai. I’m stuck in the hotel. You can come inside. Please Ishu. I want to meet you

Ishu - Shubi its team hotel

Shubi - So what. This isn’t the first time. Come here. I’m sending the location

Shubi hung before Ishu say something.
Ishu had to go. He was not feeling ok about that. He met Shubi as soon as he entered the hotel. He was waiting.

"ISHU " Shubi came while running and tackle him into a born crushing hug.

"Shubi " Ishu didn’t hug back

"Lets go to my room. I have lot of thing to say " He dragged Ishu to his room

Shubi was saying many things. Most of it went unnoticed. Shubi realized it after a while.

"Ishu…."

"Mmm "

"Why aren’t you listening "

"I’m listening "

"Then tell me what did I say ?"

"Shubi. Don’t be a baby. "

Shubi pouted. Ishu would have laughed if it was another day.

"Shubi, I have to go now "

"What noooo. You are staying here that’s final " Shubi held his hand

"I’m not bound by captain orders. Remember "

"Of cause you are not. If I asked Abhi or Yashu, they would have stayed " Shubi told without thinking much.

"You have them now. Why do you need me Shubman. Oh is it to show that you have powers. Don’t you have too much new friends. Specially Abhishek. Why do you need me "

"Why are you talking like that. I never treated you differently "

"You know what Shubman. The day he came to the team. I lost my place in your life " Ishu finally said

"He is just a friend. How can he replace you "

"World has seen it. Its my stupidity to think I have you. I regret everything. I "

"Please don’t say it Ishu "

"I hate you "

"Please don’t say you hate me. It hurts "

"Hurt. This is the only feeling I’ve been bearing for past year. It doesn’t matter. How can the words of a looser like me hurt you "

"Ishu calm down. You are scaring me. Lets talk after you calmed down " Shubi held Ishan's hand and tried to make him sit

Ishu yanked his hand away

"Sorry sorry now you don’t want to listen to what I say right. You will be fine. I’m leaving "
