-3rd POV-

The principal disappeared...I can't even feel his presence...The only way this could be is probably...

Sebastian stayed silent, looking down at his hand, "Let's get back to the grounds. The principal might have returned there."

"What are they trying to do by defending around the batsman?"

"They left it completely empty before!"

Students muttered.

The batsman was up.

Damn blue house, what are they thinking?

"Here I go!" Ciel said, ball in hand.

But the bowler is that pipsqueak. His throw can't be much. He's hardly a threat to someone like me who's been a green house regular for 5 years!

He threw the ball, "Ha!"

Hmph, a slow ball after all.

The ball went had gone up, shocking the batsman, "Eh?" He quickly blocked it so it didn't hit his face, "Watch it!" He exclaimed, as the ball bounced and Clayton caught it.

"Hey, that's dangerous! You've got zero control!"

"It's a dot*, so do it over."

*A ball that doesn't get any runs, nor outs.

"I'm sorry." The earl apologized.

"It's okay." The batter said, waving his hand.

Soon, he threw it again, which went towards his face again.

"Wah!" He blocked it with the bat.

"It went for his face again?!" Edward said.

The ball bounced and a blue house player caught it.

"Out!"

"What?!" The batsman exclaimed in shock.

"Sorry." Ciel apologized again.

"Wait a second here! I was just evading a dangerous ball there! Also, what are you doing, failing to throw properly twice is—"

Ho. Strange? It's been kind of weird ever since this kid stepped up. Come to think of it...This strange defense position as well. Could it be?! The bowler aims for the face. The fieldsmen then catch the ball that reflected off the bat. So was this their strategy from the start?!

"That's unfair!"

"I thought better of you, blue house!"

"You want to win by breaking the rules?!"

"Breaking the rules? When? Who did?" Ciel said.

"What?!" Edward said.

"The bowler throws towards the wicket. The batsman tried to protect it by hitting in front of it. So of course the ball will pass through the vicinity of the batsman. This time my control was bad, and it went to the vicinity of the batsman's face. For "some reason" the batsman swung and sent the ball flying. Then "by chance", a player that happened to be near the ball caught it with no bound. So isn't it "just" a one out?"

"W-Well, it's not against the rules, but..."

"As if an English gentleman would do such a thing!" A green house male exclaimed.

"Th-That's right! It's not cricket!"

"It's not cricket!"

"It's not cricket!"
