Chapter 26

-3rd POV-

"We have been waiting for you...Earl Phantomhive." Joker said.

"Joker..." Ciel said.

"Please come in." He said, extending his hand with a small bow as the three walked inside. He snapped his fingers and the candles lit up.

The boy's eye widen as he looked around the place and saw a bunch of dolls from the floor to the ceiling, "This is...!"

"This way." He said, standing by the stairs.

The two followed.

Sebastian leaned down, "How should you like to proceed? Would you have me kill him now and extricate the children?" He whispered.

"Wait." The dark blue haired teen whispered back, "If the children are still alive, we should apprehend Kelvin first. I cannot report to her majesty, the queen, if I do not understand his objectives and the actual facts of the case."

"Very well, sir."

Though their conversation was cut when they heard laughter, making them turn to the orange haired male.

"Looks like there's a touch o' truth to the saying that folks aren't always as they seem. Ye've got such a little body...yet your stage names are "The Queen's Watchdog" and "The Aristocrat of Evil."" He turned to him with a smile, "Must've 'ad a rough go of it, eh, Smile?"

"That's Earl Ciel Phantomhive to you. A mere servant is in no position to speak to me in such a familiar manner."

"...Ye are indeed...a noble aristocrat." He shrugged as they arrived at the door.

(Y/n) turned tugged on her brother's sleeve, who turned to her.

"What's the matter, (N/n)?"

She smiled, "Did you bring the mirror, Mal?"

He chuckled, bringing the mirror out from his pocket.

"Show us Diasomnia." The twins said, as they watched the mirror softly glow and ripple, before they could see the familiar lounge.

"Hello?" He called out.

"Malleus-samaaaaaaaaaa!" Sebek called out from afar, before he showed up, panting from the running he just did. He then saw the female, "(Y/n)-sama!" He cried out, tears streaming, seeing his two favorite fae twins.

The said female smiled, "Hello, Sebek. How is everything?"

He tried to speak but he couldn't since he was crying.

Lilia peeked in and smiled, "Oh! It's just you two! Hello!"

"Hello, Lilia." The two said.

"Sebek here has just been worried about you two so don't worry about him." He chuckled.

Malleus nodded, "We just wanted to see how everything was and how the machine is coming along."

The male hummed, "Well, everything here is fine, and the machine...If I remember correctly it's about 80% now."

(Y/n) smiled, "So that means, very soon, we'll see each other! Have you spoken on who will be the next to come?" She tilted her head.

Lilia shook his head, "Not yet. We're waiting for the machine to hit at least 90%, but Sebek and Silver have been wanting to go to at least protect you two."

Sebek nodded, "Yes! Both of you need a retainer at all times!" He finally spoke.

The female let out a small laugh, "Well, I'm sure whoever comes through, we'll be sure to welcome with open arms." She said.
