-3rd POV-

Silver blinked as he stood in front of a manor, "Hello?" He called out.

"Oh! Are you a guest? I don't think Lady Francis was having guests today..." A female said.

He turned and saw a female with long brown hair and dark brown eyes. She wore a simple, plain dress with a white apron. The male shook his head, "I'm here looking for (Y/n)-sama and Malleus-sama. They're staying with a boy named Ciel."

She smiled, "Ah, you must be talking about earl Phantomhive! That's lady Elizabeth's fiancée. She has told me all about lady (Y/n), who's been taking care of the young earl."

He nodded, "Is there any way to get to the manor?"

She nodded, "Yes. But it will take a while. Come in. I'm sure lady Francis could make an arrangement." She said, before freezing, "Ah! Where are my manners! I'm Paula. I'm a maid here."

"Silver."

Paula smiled, "This way, mr. Silver." She said, leading him inside to the Midford manor.

'Seems like I got sent somewhere far from them...' He thought.

"Paulaaaa!" A voice called out, making the said female turn.

"Lady Elizabeth is something wrong?" The brown haired girl questioned.

"Look at these cute shoes I got!" Elizabeth squealed as she showed them off.

She smiled and nodded, "Very cute indeed, my lady."

She noted the silver haired male, "Oh? Who's this, Paula?"

"This is mr. Silver, he got lost on his way to the earl's manor to see lady (Y/n)."

"Are you a sibling of theirs?"

Silver shook his head, "I'm their retainer."

They both gasped in shock.

"Re..."

"...tainer..."

"That means auntie and her brother are royals?!" Elizabeth exclaimed.

The male nodded, "Yes." He said, confused on why she was questioning it, but then realized that they probably wanted to be secret.

"Does that make Ciel a prince then?! Since auntie adopted him?!"

"What's all this ruckus?!" A voice called out, making them turn, seeing the lady of the manor.

"Mother!"

"L-Lady Francis!"

Francis raised a brow at them then saw the male, "And you are?"

Silver bowed, "I'm Silver. I've been looking for (Y/n)-sama, who is staying with Ciel but lost my way there."

Her expression soften, "Ah, yes. My niece. She's quite lovely. I can arrange a carriage for you to be on your way. Though, it will take a few days since my husband went out."

He nodded, "I see. If you wouldn't mind, I would like to stay until then."

She nodded, "Of course. Paula, prepare a room for him."

Paula nodded, "Y-Yes, my lady." She said, walking off.

"Come, Silver. You must be hungry." Francis said, leading to the dining room.
