Lisa's POV
We are awakened by her phone's alarm reminding us that we will be separated again. Is this even real? We are already official? I still can't believe what happened. I am delighted with everything but I want it to be more special. I am thinking of a way to ask her myself. Maybe I will do it when they're back in Korea. I still need time to prepare for this.
We are just waiting for her team to call her when someone knocks on the door. Jennie opened the door checking if it was someone from her team.
"Alice?" I heard Jennie. What is Alice doing here? So I went there and checked it myself.
"Alice? Why are you here? It's still early for work." I asked.
"I just wanted to say sorry for everything that happened last night. I don't know why but it keeps bothering me and I do feel the need to apologize. Please Jennie don't misunderstand everything, Lisa and I were just good friends and you don't really have to be worried as I already have a boyfriend." She explained.
"You have a boyfriend?" I was shocked.
"Of course! You're not the only one that has a special someone." Alice said,
"I must meet the unlucky guy then." I smirked.
"No way!" Alice protested.
"Yes way, or I won't approve your leave of absence." I said.
"Whatever!" She just rolled her eyes and I just chuckled.
"Anyway thank you Alice for clearing things out with Jennie, I appreciate it." I sincerely said.
"It's nothing, as you always say, 'Jennie deserves an assurance. So I must give it to her.' So here I am saving your ass." Alice smirked.
"Thank you Alice. And sorry for doubting you." Jennie said.
"I understand Jennie. I would do the same thing if that happened to me." They smiled at each other.
"Thank you so much Alice for saving my ass. I'll see you later." We laugh together.
"It's no problem, but you have to treat me to a coffee. And have a safe flight Jennie." Alice said and bid us a goodbye.
"Bye Alice!" We also bid ours.
Time came that Jennie and their whole team had to leave for their flight. I bid my goodbye with her friends and their managers too. My friends will go home later this afternoon too. I am the one who will be left here for business and to fix the problem with the fugitive.
I spent all my remaining days here for our business and to track the man down. I was supposed to bait myself as planned but one morning someone tipped us the location of the man. We immediately took action, at first he fought but we managed to catch him. They bring them to prison and put him in maximum security.
