wooyoung had a lot on his mind. his thoughts were racing out of control before he could settle down and concentrate on one thing at a time.
there was the whole ordeal with mi-kyung and their target, which had left wooyoung perplexed. should he betray the sorceress for the sake of two people's happiness, or should he follow the rules as usual?
furthermore, was any of this even possible?
his target, who, like him, came from the world of action, had managed to create his own love story in the romance zone. the sorceress had made it clear that only cross-genre leads were immune to the powers of the other. that was why wooyoung disapproved of san's overtly sugary personality.
however, the same did not apply to mi-kyung and his target, neither of whom were main characters. they were vulnerable to each other's abilities, and his target's natural proclivity to endanger others should have been enough to deter the woman. in other words, someone like him was designed to be unloveable—so how did they end up in this situation?
there were numerous pressing issues that required wooyoung's attention, but he couldn't bring himself to think about any of them.
and choi san was solely to blame, for literally cutting off wooyoung's oxygen supply at the time.
wooyoung stared wide-eyed and astonished at choi san, who had his eyes closed and was pressing his disgustingly pink lips against wooyoung's.
the tip of wooyoung's cap, which was still comfortably placed on san's head, began to press against wooyoung's temples, nearly falling over.
the fact that he had enough strength in his fist to send san flying at least a couple blocks away from where they were sitting didn't cross wooyoung's mind at all. not because he didn't want to do it— instead, because, again, with this lack of oxygen, he couldn't think of anything at all!
only when san finally pulled back did life return to wooyoung, and it did so with a loud gasp from his stinging lips.
wooyoung then went through a variety of reactions.
first, he acknowledged the situation, which made him hold his breath. then, a wave of disgust rushed through his veins, making him almost shudder as he remembered the unpleasant sensation of san's touch.
san, on the other hand, appeared to be unfazed by wooyoung, as was the case throughout this cursed world. his face remained mere inches from wooyoung's, and his dumb eyes sparkled in strange watery shapes, his stupid lips a deeper shade of pink, matching the skin of his cheeks. as always, he was in his own world, moving as he pleased and with no regrets about his actions.
but wooyoung moved meticulously, with only one goal in mind throughout his career as the lead in an action-packed crime script: to make people regret their actions.
"now, do you believe me?" san spoke in a low, slithery tone, as if his attempts to be sensual and heartthrob-inducing would ever be successful with the man in front of him.
