In times of need, we all need somebody to lean on. It may be a friend, a parent or sometimes a complete stranger. But for Payten, it just so happens to be her best friend, aka her old crush.

Payten & Adam
Payten woke up on the 8th of August with a funny feeling. She had an OBGYN appointment in the afternoon, but other than that, her morning was free.
As she sat and ate breakfast, she thought about what she could do with her morning. Marty came up and buried his noise into her lap, wanting the pancakes and fruit that she was eating.
"I'll get you a treat instead Marty." She said, getting up and walking over to the cupboard, and looking for the box. "Oh, I guess that's what I'll do." Payten grabbed the empty container and set it on the counter.
Marty had followed her and sat patiently.
"I'm sorry bud, I have to get more." Payten walked back over to the table, grabbing her plate and scraping off what she didn't want anymore and setting them in the sink.
She walked upstairs to her room, looking through her closet for something accessible to wear. She figured she'd just shop around till it got closer to her appointment time and then go straight there.
She found a pair of jeans that still fit, and pulled the belly band up and over. She flipped through her shirts, trying to find one that was oversized enough. When she wasn't satisfied with anything she saw, she grabbed one of her white maternity shirts, and pulled it on over her head.
She looked in the mirror and watched as the shirt hugged her bump and she smiled. She grabbed a flannel sweater to pair with it and walked to her bathroom to get ready for the day.
She straightened her hair, and brushed her teeth. She looked at herself in the mirror again and then pulled out her phone to take a quick picture.
She walked down the stairs, and into the kitchen, grabbing her purse and keys.
"I'll be back later Marty." Payten said, walking down the hall and out the front door. She walked down the little pathway to the driveway to her car.
She got in and situated, picking a song before reversing out onto the street. She pulled away from the house and down the street, turning onto the main road.
