Things get heated

Percy POV:

As we made our way to Dwarka, the air was thick with tension. Annabeth was walking beside me, her mind clearly running a million miles a minute. I could tell she was strategizing, trying to piece together everything we had learned so far. The Indian demigods, the prophecy, and now these new girls with their mysterious backgrounds. It was a lot to take in.

Kiwi and Melon were walking ahead of us, talking quietly. There was something about them that made me uneasy. Maybe it was the way Kiwi kept glancing back at us with a calculating look in her eyes or how Melon seemed too comfortable with the power she wielded.

"Percy," Annabeth whispered, breaking my train of thought. "Something's not right with those two."

"I know," I replied, keeping my voice low. "We need to keep an eye on them."

Kiwi POV:

I could feel their eyes on us, suspicion radiating from the group behind us. Good, I thought. Let them be wary. It would make what was coming all the more satisfying.

Melon and I had a plan, one that would bring us the power and recognition we deserved. Being demigods wasn't enough. We wanted more, and we were willing to do whatever it took to get it.

"Remember the signal," I whispered to Melon. She nodded, a wicked smile spreading across her face. It was almost time.

Sun POV:

As we walked, I couldn't shake the feeling that we were walking into a trap. Kiwi and Melon had been too eager to join us, too quick to reveal their abilities. There was something off about them.

"Stay alert," I told the others. "I don't trust them."

Chai nodded, her hand gripping her club tightly. "Agreed. We need to be ready for anything."

Leo POV:

I couldn't help but feel a sense of impending doom. Kiwi and Melon were hiding something, and it was only a matter of time before it came to light.

"Hey, Sun," I called out. "How much further to Dwarka?"

"Not far," she replied. "But we need to be careful. This area is known for—"

Before she could finish her sentence, a blinding flash of light erupted in front of us. I shielded my eyes, trying to see what was happening.

When the light faded, Kiwi and Melon were standing there, their faces twisted into expressions of triumph.

"Surprise," Kiwi said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Did you really think we'd just follow you to Dwarka without a plan?"

Annabeth POV:

I knew it. I knew they were up to something. "What do you want?" I demanded, stepping forward.

Melon laughed. "Isn't it obvious? Power. Control. We want what you all have—respect, fear, authority."

Kiwi nodded. "And we're willing to do whatever it takes to get it. Even if it means taking you down."

Percy POV:

This was bad. Really bad. "You don't have to do this," I said, trying to reason with them. "We can work together."

Kiwi's eyes hardened. "No, Percy. We can't. Because you don't understand what it's like to be us. To always be in the shadows, never getting the recognition we deserve."

With that, she raised her hand, and a blast of dark energy shot towards us. We barely had time to react.

Sparkle POV:

I watched in horror as the energy blast struck the ground, sending a shockwave through our group. We scattered, trying to regroup and form a plan.

"We need to take them down," Sun shouted. "Now!"

Chai and I nodded, readying our weapons. This was going to be a fight to the finish.

Kiwi POV:

This was it. The moment we had been waiting for. I felt a surge of power as I unleashed another wave of energy towards the Greeks and Romans.

"Let's see how strong you really are," I taunted, my voice echoing through the chaos.

Melon POV:

I focused on controlling the water around us, forming a barrier to keep the others at bay. They would soon realize that we were not to be underestimated.

"Get ready, Kiwi," I called out. "This is just the beginning."

Percy POV:

We were in for the fight of our lives, but we couldn't let them win. Not now, not ever.

"Let's show them what we're made of," I shouted, raising Riptide and charging forward.

This was it. The battle had begun. And only one side would come out victorious.

Hope you enjoyed the plot twist! Things are heating up, and the battle is just beginning. Keep those comments and votes coming, and let me know what you think will happen next!
