Kiwi POV:

The rain had finally stopped. The storm that had been raging during the final battle was nothing more than a faint drizzle now, the last remnants of Hiranyakashipu's dark power fading into the earth. I sat on the edge of a cliff, staring out over the horizon, watching the clouds part to reveal the first rays of sunlight.

I wasn't sure what to feel. The world was still here. Sun and the others had won. They had the Sudarshana Chakra, and Hiranyakashipu was gone. But what did that mean for me? For Melon?

Melon sat beside me, silent as always. She hadn't said much since we retreated from the battlefield. I wasn't sure if she blamed me or if she just didn't care anymore. Either way, we were both lost now, our paths severed from the chaos we had once been a part of.

"It's over, huh?" I muttered, more to myself than to her.

Melon didn't respond right away. She just stared out at the sunrise, her eyes unreadable. After a long pause, she finally spoke. "Yeah. It's over."

Melon POV:

I wasn't sure what came next. After everything we'd done, everything we'd been through, it all felt so... hollow now. The fight with Sun and her friends had left me with a strange emptiness, like all the chaos and destruction I'd once thrived on didn't matter anymore.

"We lost," Kiwi said, her voice bitter.

I didn't answer right away, because I wasn't sure how to explain what I was feeling. Losing didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. Maybe because deep down, I knew we weren't meant to win. Sun was stronger than us, not just because of Durga's power, but because of the people around her. That's something we never had.

"We weren't meant to win," I said softly.

Kiwi gave me a sharp look. "What are you talking about?"

I shrugged. "It's true. Look at them—Sun, Sparkle, Moon, and the others. They didn't just fight for power. They fought for each other. That's why they won. We never had that."

Kiwi clenched her fists, her eyes burning with frustration. "I don't need a bunch of friends to make me strong."

I sighed. "Maybe. But it's the reason we're sitting here, watching the sunrise, instead of celebrating with them."

Kiwi POV:

I hated to admit it, but Melon had a point. Sun and her friends had something we didn't—loyalty, trust, real bonds. We had been chasing power for so long that we forgot why we started in the first place. And now, we were left with nothing.

"What now?" I asked, kicking a rock over the edge of the cliff. "Where do we go from here?"

Melon tilted her head, watching the rock fall into the abyss below. "I don't know. But we can't keep doing what we've been doing. We're not villains anymore. There's no one left to fight."

I snorted. "So, what? We're supposed to just walk away and pretend none of this happened?"

Melon gave a small shrug. "Maybe. Or maybe we find something else to fight for."

Her words hung in the air, and for a long time, neither of us spoke. The sun was climbing higher now, casting a warm glow over the land that felt... different. Like it was welcoming a new beginning.

Melon POV:

I wasn't sure what the future held for us. Kiwi and I had always been the troublemakers, the ones who thrived in chaos. But maybe, just maybe, it was time to leave that behind.

"Whatever we do next," I said, turning to look at Kiwi, "it doesn't have to be like before. We can start over."

Kiwi scoffed, but I could see the hesitation in her eyes. "You think we can just... start over?"

I nodded. "Yeah. We've got a choice. We can walk away from this, find a new path. Or we can keep going down the same road and end up right back where we started—lost."

Kiwi stared at me for a moment, then looked back out at the horizon. "I'm not saying I'm ready to be a hero or anything."

"I'm not asking you to be," I said with a faint smile. "But maybe we can be something else. Something better."

Kiwi POV:

The idea of starting over felt weird. But looking at Melon, I realized that maybe, for the first time in my life, I wanted something different. Something that wasn't just destruction and power-hunting.

"Alright," I said, standing up and brushing off my jacket. "Let's see where this new road takes us."

Melon smiled, a small, genuine smile that I hadn't seen in a long time. "Let's go."

We turned away from the cliff, the sun at our backs as we walked away from the chaos and destruction we had once thrived on. It was the start of something new, something unknown. But for the first time in a long time, I didn't mind.
