ercy POV:
As we made our way towards Dwarka, the sheer absurdity of our situation kept hitting me. Fighting rogue demigods, dealing with divine family dramas, and trying not to drown—just another day in the life of a demigod. "So, is it just me, or does anyone else feel like we're starring in the world's weirdest sitcom?" I quipped, dodging a tree branch.
Leo snorted. "Totally. Except our laugh track is just the sound of things exploding. Which, honestly, is kinda my vibe." He shot Jason a mischievous grin, his hand slipping into Jason's.
Jason rolled his eyes but smiled, squeezing Leo's hand. "Just try not to blow us up along the way, okay? We kind of need all our body parts intact."
Sun POV:
"Guys, before we get to Dwarka, there's something important you need to know. I'm not just any demigod; I'm the daughter of the ten forms of Maa Durga. I told you that before, but as you remembered, Kiwi and Melon became a ballistic missile."
Thalia raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Ten mothers? That's... a lot of parental guidance."
I nodded, taking a deep breath. "Yeah, each form represents a different aspect of her divine power. I'm basically the ultimate multitasker in the demigod world."
Grover POV:
Grover played a cheerful tune on his pan flute, clearly enjoying the chaos. "So, you're like the Swiss Army knife of demigods? That's kinda cool. Do you have like ten different curfews too?"
Sun laughed, a sound that lightened the mood. "Fortunately, no. But I do have ten sets of divine expectations to live up to. It's like having ten very intense, very magical life coaches."
Sun POV:
I glanced at the curious faces around me, deciding to elaborate. "So, each form of Maa Durga has a unique power. Kali is fierce and embodies destruction, and so on. I'm blessed with aspects of all of them. It's like being a one-woman divine army, but, you know, with more family drama."
Leo's eyes widened. "So, you can be super smart, scary, and creative all at once? That's... actually terrifying. But also kind of awesome."
Jason nodded, impressed. "No wonder you're so badass."
Percy POV:
As we reached the temple, we were greeted by a serene figure with the head of an elephant and a warm smile. Lord Ganesha stood there, looking like he'd just stepped out of a yoga retreat. "Chai, my child," he greeted, his voice gentle. "And you must be her friends."
Chai bowed deeply. "Father, it's good to see you. We could really use some help right now. Kiwi and Melon are... well, they're being typical teenagers but with superpowers."
Leo POV:
Leo couldn't resist making a joke, even in the presence of a god. "So, Lord Ganesha, any chance you could use those four arms to juggle some of our problems away?"
Ganesha chuckled, the sound rich and comforting. "If only it were that simple. But you all have the strength within you. Sometimes, even the gods need a good show of mortal courage."
Jason grinned at Leo. "See? Even gods think you're funny."
Leo puffed out his chest. "Comedy gold, right here."
Thalia POV:
Thalia, usually serious, couldn't help but smile at the banter. "You know, if we ever survive this, we should definitely take this act on the road."
Piper laughed. "Yeah, 'Demigods: The Tour'. I'd pay to see that."
Nico POV:
Nico stood close to Will, who had a wide grin on his face. "So, do you think Ganesha has a favorite sitcom? Because 'Apocalypse Now' is starting to feel like a recurring theme."
Will chuckled, nudging Nico playfully. "Maybe he's more into comedies. Something light, with a lot less world-ending."
Chai POV:
After Ganesha blessed us, I felt a surge of confidence. "Thanks, Father. We'll make sure not to let you down."
Ganesha's eyes twinkled with amusement. "You never could. Now, go. Time is of the essence, and your path ahead is... interesting."
Percy POV:
As we left the temple, I turned to the group, feeling a strange mix of hope and dread. "Alright, team. We've got divine backup and a lot of weirdness to sort out. Let's go stop Kiwi and Melon before they come up with another crazy plan."
Will POV:
Will glanced at Nico, a grin tugging at his lips. "You ready for whatever comes next?"
Nico smirked. "Always. And hey, if things get too crazy, at least we'll have some great stories to tell."
Jason POV:
Jason squeezed Leo's hand as they walked. "Let's do this. And maybe afterwards, we can finally have that vacation we keep talking about."
Leo grinned, leaning into Jason. "As long as it involves less monsters and more margaritas, I'm in."
Chai POV:
I looked around at my friends, feeling both proud and nervous. We had a tough road ahead, but with Lord Ganesha's blessing and a healthy dose of humor, we could handle it. "Just remember," I said with a smirk, "we're the demigod version of a Swiss Army knife. Let's put that versatility to good use."A/N : Imma give the spoiler for the next chapter. Hmm Strawberry has been a bit foreshadowed in these tales.. let's meet her dad?
