Its a chaotic day..

Kiwi POV:

I wasn't really sure how I ended up leading this ragtag group of demigods on a quest to save the universe. I mean, yesterday I was trying to destroy it, and today I'm supposed to be the responsible one? Talk about a major career shift.

"So, who's got a plan?" I asked, turning to the group as we gathered at the temple gates. My question was met with silence and blank stares. Typical.

Grover, who had been nervously chewing on a tin can (as usual), mumbled, "I don't think we really have one, do we? Let's just try not to die, okay?"

Thalia POV:

I wasn't so sure about following these three, but they had switched sides. And after everything with the gods and the prophecy about Hiranyakashipu, we didn't have time to argue about leadership.

Kiwi was waving her arms like she was leading an orchestra, probably trying to figure out where we were going. "Alright, everyone, let's head... that way!" She pointed down a random dirt path leading into what looked like a jungle.

I raised an eyebrow. "Is that your highly strategic plan? Walking into the forest?"

"Do you have a better idea, Miss Lightning Javelin?" Kiwi shot back, not missing a beat.

Reyna POV:

I'd been staying quiet, mostly because watching Kiwi, Piper, and Melon try to lead this group was like watching a poorly rehearsed play. Still, we didn't have time to waste.

"Let's just get moving," I said, stepping forward. "We're supposed to retrieve the Sudarshana Chakra, right? The sooner we get there, the sooner we stop Hiranyakashipu."

Piper nodded, trying to look official. "Exactly! Team, move out!" She pointed forward dramatically, like she was in a superhero movie.

Grover groaned. "Why does this feel like a field trip with no adult supervision?"

Moon POV:

I was walking next to Thalia, trying to ignore the chaos around us. "I've been on a lot of quests, but this one... this one takes the cake," I whispered.

Thalia smirked. "Yeah, because we've got a bunch of former villains leading us and everyone's pretending it's normal."

"Who even gave them the keys to the quest car?" I asked, shaking my head.

"Maybe they won a raffle," Thalia muttered.

Ahead of us, Strawberry was rolling her eyes so hard I thought they'd pop out of her head. "If we follow Kiwi, Piper, and Melon, we're definitely walking into a trap. They're like walking disaster magnets."

"Disaster magnets?" I laughed. "They are the disaster."

Grover POV:

As we trudged through the forest, I couldn't help but feel like this whole thing was one big setup. I mean, sure, the gods were counting on us, but the gods weren't the ones walking through a mosquito-infested jungle led by three ex-villains with no sense of direction.

"I'm getting itchy," I complained, swatting at the bugs swarming around my head. "Did anyone bring bug spray?"

"No, but I brought snacks," Will offered cheerfully, holding up a granola bar.

"Snacks aren't gonna stop us from being eaten alive by mosquitoes the size of pigeons, Will," I grumbled.

"Grover, stop complaining," Thalia said, smacking a bug off her forehead. "You're a satyr—you should be at home in the wild."
