The next day, Clementine agreed to meet them at the Hayfield's before she left yesterday, but warned them if she didn't arrive it's probably because her mother didn't let her, it was 6am and had to ask her mother permission to leave.

"Mother, I have finished all my chores, may i go out? " Clementine said waiting for an answer, anxious she looked down as her mother towered over her,
"Hmm... Very well then, get home at 1pm" her mother said readjusting her ring.

Clementine's family was quite wealthy, but most people didn't know that. Clementine didn't brag about it  instead you could hear it in her voice, she had quite a posh pronunciation and a sort of advanced vocabulary. Cole noticed it the first day he met her but found it to fit her appearance.

Clementine arrived at the Hayfields and saw the group playing together except for Cole who was fiddling around with his ukulele,

"hey guys!" Clementine said lowering her backpack onto a haybell.
"Hey Clemmie" Perrine said smiling from the distance,
Cole looked at Perrine slightly jealous of calling Clementine the nickname he made.
He ignored it since she was one of his best friends.

Clemmie went to sit on Coles lap, it was sudden and Cole didn't expect it, he sat there blushing of the close contact. Her legs on his lap as her back rested on haybells, she kissed his cheek and started to play with his hair,
"You have really nice hair Cole maybe prettier than mine!" Clementine said smiling,
"No, you definitely have more gorgeous hair than mine Clemmie" he said subtly smiling.

He could hear Perrine and Kingsley bickering about them then they went to them,
"Ooh look at Cole and his girlfriend sitting on his lap," he said grinning and teasing them.
Cole was red as Clementine propped her legs onto his lap, she smiled.

"Guys I have news!" Theres this neighbor hood band audition and we got accepted to audition!" Perrine said excitedly,
"But.. we need another lead singer. And we were wondering Clementine could, Cole couldn't stop talking about how beautiful your voice was, could you maybe show us?"
"Sure, actually me and Cole were made a song, we can show you," Clementine said smiling,
Perrine agreed and Cole started to strum his ukulele,

"Wow that was beautiful, your definitely coming with us" Perrine said amazed.
"Thank you" Cole and Clementine said in unison.
They smiled at eachother.
"We need a name for our band!.. The lark?"
They all agreed on the name,
Friendships started and friendships ended but they were happy at the end either way.
