"God I'm soooo bored" Kingsley whined putting his head back from the chair.
"We have a show later today I forgot to tell you all"
Perrine scratched her head in guilt.
"What? Why didn't you tell us we have to practice and everything"
Cole whined nervously.

"Don't worry Cole we'll just perform Harpy Hare and The Hound one. You can do it I'm pretty sure you've got it memorised"

"Oo we should go to the beach and practice there!" Clementine exclaimed happily,
"I haven't been there in a while..."

Clementines favourite place was the beach it wasn't too far but she didn't go often, it was because when her family was still complete thats where they would go. The memories sunk in almost making her cry, she held back her tears not wanting to cry in front of them. She remembered playing in the water and her father splashing her, despite this being many years ago it never left her mind. She wanted to share her favourite place with her friends. What does she have to hide anyway they're the only people left for her.

"Sure! I think its been a while since we've gone there aswell" Kingsley agreed not noticing her watery eyes. She sniffed wiping away her little tears, hoping nobody noticed.

"But we will be in public will we have to act like a couple? Since well we are quite known now." Cole says actually quite excited to be Clementines boyfriend even if its fake. Their band is quite famous now throughout the town many people came to their shows and some people recognised them.
"Uhm Cole I just want to say this is all fake alright? I can't be with you just yet." Clementine added to clear the air.

"Oh yeah of course." Coles heart sunk he felt quite sad she didn't want to be with him, but he has to understand everything she's been through. Perrine could notice Cole was disappointed and felt bad but she couldn't do anything or persuade Clementine she had to respect her decision.

"It doesn't matter I just wanna go to the beach! I really hope Tulip isn't there though" Kingsley interrupted the silence,
"She probably will, it's alright we can deal with one stalker."

Before they left they brought jackets as it would be chilly out. Clementine and Cole haven't spoken since earlier it got very awkward every time they interacted, it was like they became strangers.

They walked by the forest down to the path of the market through a shortcut they ended up in the beach. Few people went to say hello and was squealing about seeing them. They sat down on the rocks, salty sea air rushing through their faces. Clementines face was getting a bit red from the cold so Cole put his scarf around her neck not wanting her to catch colds. She smiled knowing he cared about her.

In the corner of her eye she saw Cora bickering about to her friends looking at them.
"Uhm quick hold my hand or something" Clementine nudged Cole.
"What?" Cole said not getting the idea.
She held his hand as they interlocked her soft and cold hand grabbing his. She was a very elegant girl, he admired her for that. Perrine and Kingsley were building rock castles so they were fine.

Cora glanced at them and rolled her eyes telling her friend's that they should leave, once they left Clementine quickly let go of his hand. Cole didn't want that moment to end and felt disappointment fill his body his eyes softened looking at Clemmie. She looked back seeing the sadness in his eyes her eyes adjusted and felt bad. She looked to her feet, feeling guilty.
