Clementine didn't go back to the funeral and went home and slept the next day when she woke up, all she could think about were
Perrine's words, they lingered in Clementines mind. She wondered what that "something else" was.

Cole was out in the neighborhood lurking around when he saw a familiar face, Lenny. Hopefully Clementine was right about her already apologizing because he didn't have time or the energy to deal with anymore drama.

"Cole, could I talk to you?" Lenny asked in a serious tone.

Cole agreed and they went to the woods and sat down on some logs.

"I noticed recently your relationship with Clemmie hasn't been quite... healthy." Lenny mumbled clearing her throat.

"Oh yeah it hasn't been going quite well."

"I'm going to give you a second chance, but that's my best friend so if you hurt her again, I'm going to personally punch you, and I'm sorry if that comes along as a threat but she's been through enough." Lenny's tone was serious and looked like she would actually hurt him.

Cole was quite scared but could understand where she came from, he knew she was going through some hard times but that was the reason why she didn't want to be around people sometimes and pushed him away, he tries to understand but she just wouldn't budge.

"Yeah of course." Cole replied sheepishly.

Lenny left shortly after, and he decided it was time for him to go back to the house.

When he arrived, Clementine was there waiting for him on the table.

"Perrine told me you did something, tell me now." Clementine said she wasn't joking with him at all.

"I don't know if you should know Clemmie..."

"Please just shut up and tell me." Clementine's tears gradually falling from her face. Cole hated to see her cry especially if he was the reason.

"Tulip kissed me but I-I didn't want-"

Clementine's eyes widened her breathing shaky as her eyes started to water, she cleared her throat. And held back her tears.

"You don't even care for me do you, fine go kiss other girls I don't care anymore" She cared a whole lot, she would rather die than see him kiss other girls.

"Why do you even care? We aren't together" Cole death stared her clearly annoyed but why? He's in the wrong.

"Because I care for you. You told me you loved me," Clementine frowning.

"This isn't.... This isn't even about you, why do you make everything about you? You're the one who kissed her?!" Clementine said angered of how selfish he was acting.

Clementine started talking a lot arguing.

"Are you even listening to me?" Clementine shouted her eyes finally giving in tears flowing down.

"God please don't cry, I hate it when you cry." Cole said looking sympathetic.

"SHUT UP JUST SHUT UP. Please just give me a reason to fall out of love with you." Clementine said she couldn't look at Cole.

"I'm sorry Clemmie I'm really sorry."

"I can't understand you. It's not fair I was doing everything for you. I never kissed any other boys."

"I didn't want to kiss her you know that."

"Then why does this keep happening?"

He knew he messed up but now he really did know.
