Since Cole met Clementine, his feeling has been all over the place, he wanted to talk to her about but didn't know how, the last thing he would want to do is be a burden.

He hasn't seen Clemme in a while since she hasn't visited, he's not allowed to go to her because of her mother.

He decided to go to the woods to see if she was hanging around there.

He saw Clementine wrapped in a coat and scarf and what looked like she was shivering.

"Hey, Clemmie, are you okay? You look so cold," Cole said patting her back.
She turned to him her nose pink as her skin was white and pale,
"Oh Hey Cole, I'm sick but I wanted to see you so I went out."
Clementine said wiping her nose.
"Goodness, Clementine you shouldn't of you need rest." Cole said putting his coat around her body.
"Oh th-thanks," she said shivering still, she out her head onto his shoulder as they admired the lake,
"Why don't you get rest or your mother takes care of you?" Cole said in concern for her health,
"Shes at work, and left early i woke up sweating and she wont come home till 8pm or something she sometimes doesn't come home till the next morning."
Clementine said in the verge of tears,

"Do you wanna stay at mine Clemmie I can take care of you." He said adjusting the coat onto her.
"If thats alright" She said sniffing,

They walked back to her cabin, but halfway she was too weak to walk,
"Cole, sorry but I don't think I can walk any further." Clementine said weakly out of breath.
"Get on my back, or fall on me that works too." Cole said bending down for her. But she suddenly just collapses onto him
She was carried back to the cabin.

"Goodness, what happened to Clementine?" Perrine said tucking her hair back to see her.
"She looks awfully pale" Kingsley said from the table.
"Shes sick so I'm letting her rest here" Cole said on the way up the stairs..
He carefully placed her down onto his bed as she snored quietly.
He sat down next to her checking her temperature.
"Your awfully hot.." Cole said taking his hand away from her forehead.
As he was about to leave to go downstairs he heard a small voice,
"Don't leave, I can't sleep if your not here" she said weakly.
"Oh alright then," he said creeping toward the bed sitting next to her.
"Could you play a song?" Clementine said placing her hand onto his.
"Okay love," he said grabbing his ukulele, strumming at the strands he sung her a lullaby as she quickly drifted to sleep.
He admired her freckles and her hair, she was so beautiful to him even if she didn't think that.

A few hours later Cole and Clementine was asleep, they woke up suddenly by Perrine
"I went to the pharmacy and got you medicine Clemmie and tea." Perrine said placing the pills down in a bowl and tea in a ceramic cup.
"Thank you Perrine" Clemmie said gently getting up, she drank down the pills with some tea.
Perrine left to go to Kingsley as them two was left alone.
"Love you Clemmie" he said quietly hoping she wouldn't hear.
"I heard that, doesnt mean I'm sick I become deaf." She said smiling
Cole was about to say something but just blushed looking at the ground.
"Love you too." She said quietly matching his volume.
"What did you say?" Cole said confused at what she said.
"Nothing" Clementine said cheekily.
"Just tell me" Cole said desperately,
"Its nothing I promise" she said laughing.

"They are so close, like all lovey dovey" Kingsley said outside as Perrine was walking through the doorway. She sat next to Kingsley on the bench.
"Trust me I know, but it's cute though. Hopefully I find someone like that." Perrine said swinging her feet.
"I exist, don't I?" Kingsley said tilting his head at her.
"I thought you didn't like the lovey dovey stuff" she said giggling
"I will for you." Kingsley said in a jokingly serious tone.
She blushed as she looked away and quickly looked back and stole a kiss from him.
They held hands as they appreciated the stunning scenery.
