As soon as daylight shined he went down to the forest for Clemmie.

Clementine couldn't sleep just like Cole, she couldn't stop thinking about him but she wasn't sure of how she felt. Did she like him or is she just flattered?
She woke up to go to Lenny's house she was Clementine's best friend. She always was there to help her. She wasn't sure if she was awake at this time but she didn't care she walked outside to her house and knocked onto her door,

The door opened she hoped it wasn't her parents.
"Clementine? What are you doing here at this time?" Lenny said curiously
"I need your advice please" Clemmie said desperately
"Go down to the forest I will meet you there in 5 minutes" Lenny said picking her bag up next to the door.
Clementine nodded and went back to her house to pick up a lantern. When she did she walked down the mountain into the forest, she sat down onto a rock and placed her lantern down, the early cold air swept through her locks as she swung her feet waiting for Lenny,

"Clementine, Im here!" Lenny said behind her sitting down next to her.
"So what did you need from me?" Lenny asked looking at Clementine.
"There is this boy I met here in the woods named Cole and I cannot stop thinking of him but I'm not sure if I like him though." Clementine said twirling her hair looking embarrassed
"You don't have to be embarrassed although its not surprising since you have never been 10 feet close to a boy," Lenny said teasing her as they both laughed.

They sat there for around 20 minutes talking about him, suddenly Clementine heard walking from a distance..

Cole was walking down the mountain into the woods to see Clementine. He didn't have much hope but was just seeing if she was here.

"Cole! I'm over here!" Clementine said smiling she didn't expect to see him but was happy too,
"Oh uh hi Clemmie" Cole said walking to her with his ukulele in hand.
" This is my friend Lenny by the way," Clementine said pointing at her
"Nice to meet you" Cole said smiling awkwardly
"You too" Lenny said in a seductive tone.
Cole was quite confused on her tone but didn't think much of it. Clementine was the most confused was Lenny flirting with him? She felt a ping of jealousy strike her,
"What are you doing here so early?" Cole said quietly but loud enough, as he was still shy.

"I was-" Before Clemmie could finish Lenny interrupted her and she was now furious,
"She couldn't sleep and woke me up to go here, kind of a bother don't you think?" Lenny said and whispered the last bit and giggled.
"No I don't think that actually," Cole said quite mad but still stayed very calm.
"Uh Lenny I was about to talk." Clementine said lip syncing it to Lenny,
Cole wanted to stand up for Clementine but thought he didn't have the place to do that.
"Cole you should go for now, sorry." Clementine said sadly but quite seriously as she stared at Lenny beside her.
"Oh alright be safe home Clemmie" Cole said sadly but obeyed her wishes.
Suddenly Lenny kisses his cheek, and he felt guilt rush through him,
"Lenny what are you doing?" Clementine said sternly pushing her to the floor.
Then she punched Lenny as Lenny winced in pain as she ran home. Cole and Clementine was left alone as Coles jaw dropped at what just happened.
"What just happened." Cole said quietly

Cole put the pieces together, she got jealous and punched her best friend for him. He felt happy but felt bad at the same time.

"Sorry you had to see that," Clementine said flustered and looking at the ground.
"Its alright Clemmie" He said smiling tucking her loose hair back.
He sat down with his hand on his knee and Clementine sat down next to him.
"Did you get uhm.. jealous.?" Cole said adjusting his bunny mask.
"Pfft, jealous me no i didn't get jealous." She said scratching her head laughing a bit.
He knew she did but didn't say anything.
"I like you alot."  Cole blurted out stunned by his own words he covered his mouth and uncovered it to speak,

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to-" Cole was interrupted by Clementine kissing him on the lips he was stunned but gradually closed his eyes as her soft lips touched his, their lips connected like it was meant to be, he cupped her face deepening the kiss and Clementine put her hand on his hair, when their lips parted Clementines eyes were widened clearly shocked at what had happened,
"Sorry, I have never kissed anyone before," Clementine said looking at the ground,
"Neither have I" Cole said blushing and smiling.

"You didn't have to punch her you know" Cole said concerned for her friend even after what she did.
"Are you siding with her?" Clementine said looking at him with a frown.
"No of course not, shes a traitor" Cole said smiling at her,
"You were jealous weren't you." He said quietly looking at the river with hair in his face,
"A little bit, I guess.." Clementine mumbled looking at the leaves she was fiddling with,
He smiled as she slowly drifted to sleep onto his shoulder, he was dazed at how fast everything happened.
