TW: Blood Mentions, drinking.

Clementine's love potion lingered off the next day.

Cole was in the hayfield's alone strumming his ukulele, his thoughts messed up and confused.

As for Clementine she was hanging around the house waiting for her mother, despite what happened she wanted to know if she was okay since she hasn't come back yet.

It was snowing outside, and Clementine knew her mom couldn't stand the cold. She sat there waiting for hours till her aunt came through the door.

"Clementine... Your mother was in an accident." Her aunt said quietly.

"Is-is she dead?"

"No, she's getting medical help, but you should come with me." The aunt said walking out side.

They were walking for about 13 minutes till they were greeted by a trail of crimson in white snow leading to a crumpled, shivering form.

"Why is there so much blood?" Clementine said chills going down her spine.
"Her boyfriend well attacked her when he was drunk" her aunt said truly sorry for the kid.

She was speechless as tears dropped down onto the snow.
Her aunt hugged her as she cried onto her chest.

Cole was wondering where Clementine was since he hasn't seen her the whole day, he knew that they don't need to be together everyday, but he's been getting more and more used to it.
He wandered around the woods to see if she was there. She wasn't.
He went to the Hayfields, she wasn't there.
He walked to the playground late where no kids would play. There he saw Clementine by herself on the swings.
He sat down besides her on the swings,
"Cole I think I have to be alone right now.." Clementine said teary eyed,

"Are you sure? You can always talk to me." Cole said concerned.
"Please just go." She said as a few tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Its all my fault, she left because of me and because of that she-she got hurt," Clementine said blatantly.
"It's not your fault whatever happened Clemmie."  Cole said looking at her tears dropping onto the icy snow.
"I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE" Clementine said crying and ran back to her house.

Cole felt guilt swarm his body, his anxiety filling his mind.
He never ever saw Clemmie mad and never thought she could get mad.

He went home his thoughts bothering his mind. He hated making mistakes or making people mad it was one of the last things he wanted.

He sat on his bed tossing and turning, he couldn't sleep. He waited hours before he finally fell asleep around 4 in the morning.
