It's been days since their encounter, and it still baffled Enid as to why Wednesday was here. Yoko's words were also stuck in her mind, urging her to make Wednesday remember.

She didn't know what to do but hoped fate would let them meet again. Enid continued her work as usual, drowning herself in paperwork to keep her mind occupied.

When her break time finally arrived, she decided to visit a cozy cafe down the street. It was her favorite spot, a small haven of peace in the bustling city.

As she entered, she was met with the warm, vintage design of the cafe. The scent of freshly brewed coffee and pastries filled the air. She walked up to the cashier, her Italian still a work in progress.

"Un caffè, per favore, (One coffee please,) " she said politely, though her accent was still rough around the edges.

The cashier smiled and quickly served her coffee. "Grazie," Enid replied, returning the smile before finding a seat by the window.

She sighed, taking a sip of her coffee while gazing at the bustling streets outside. The scene was calming, a temporary escape from her racing thoughts.

Her calmness was abruptly shattered when the door chime rang, and she almost spilled her coffee at the sight of who entered. It was Wednesday, her neutral demeanor as ever. Enid's heart raced, and she quickly turned her gaze, hoping to avoid being seen.

Wednesday, after ordering her coffee and thanking the cashier, scanned the room for a vacant seat. Her eyes landed on the empty chair across from Enid. With a resigned sigh, she made her way over.

"E 'occupato questo posto? (Is this seat taken?) " she asked, her voice steady.

Enid swallowed hard before responding. "No," she forced a smile, her heart pounding.

Wednesday nodded and sat down, her presence filling the space with a familiar yet distant atmosphere between them. They sat in silence for a few moments, the air between them thick with unspoken words.

Wednesday glanced at Enid as she sipped her coffee. "You're not a local here," she observed, her tone neutral but curious.

Enid chuckled awkwardly, her nerves evident. "No, I'm not," she admitted, fiddling with the edge of her cup.

Wednesday narrowed her eyebrows, noticing Enid's uneasy demeanor. "Why are you nervous?" she asked, her voice probing yet calm.

Enid's eyes flicked to her watch, her heart racing. "Uh...nothing," she lied, her mind scrambling for an escape.

The intensity of the encounter was too much for her. "Sorry, I have to go," she blurted out, standing up abruptly.

She hurriedly gathered her things and exited the cafe, her footsteps echoing her haste. The cool air outside hit her, but it did calm her racing heart. She glanced back through the cafe window, seeing Wednesday still seated, her expression unreadable.

Enid felt a pang of regret and frustration. She had longed for this moment, but now that it had come, she couldn't handle it. The unresolved emotions and the reality of Wednesday's amnesia were too overwhelming. She walked away from the cafe, her mind filled with thoughts.

As she made her way back to the office, Enid's thoughts kept returning to Wednesday. Her presence had stirred up so many memories and emotions that she had tried to bury. She wondered if she would ever get another chance to reconnect, to make Wednesday remember their bond.

Meanwhile, inside the cafe, Wednesday watched her leave, a flicker of confusion and curiosity in her eyes. She couldn't shake the feeling that there was something significant about her, something just beyond her grasp.
