Enid opened her door, ready to head to work, when the sight of a motorcycle parked in front of her house made her pause.

Her eyes widened in recognition as the rider removed their helmet, revealing the unmistakable face of Wednesday.

"Wednesday?" Enid exclaimed, a mix of surprise and delight in her voice.
Wednesday's expression remained calm, though a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips.

"I thought I might give you a ride on your way to work," she said, her voice steady and composed as always.

Enid's heart skipped a beat at the unexpected gesture. "Really? That's... wow, that's awesome!"

Wednesday nodded, extending a hand to help Enid with her bag. "Shall we?"

Enid didn't need any more encouragement. She quickly locked her door and made her way down the steps, her excitement palpable. As she approached the motorcycle, Wednesday handed her an extra helmet.

"Safety first," Wednesday said, her tone firm but with a hint of amusement.

Enid took the helmet, her fingers brushing against Wednesday's as she did. She felt a thrill run through her at the contact.

"Thank you," she said, slipping the helmet on.

Once Enid was securely seated behind her, she wrapped her arms around Wednesday's waist, feeling the warmth and steadiness of her.

Wednesday started the motorcycle, the engine purring to life. With a quick glance over her shoulder to ensure Enid was ready, Wednesday accelerated smoothly onto the road.

As they sped down the streets, Enid couldn't help but feel a sense of freedom and exhilaration. The wind whipped through her hair, and she tightened her grip around Wednesday, feeling the steady rhythm of her breathing.

"Where did you get this bike?" Enid shouted over the roar of the engine.

Wednesday's voice carried back to her effortlessly. "A gift from my parents."

Enid laughed, the sound mingling with the wind. "Of course"

The ride was invigorating, and too soon, they arrived at the Weathervane.

Wednesday skillfully maneuvered the motorcycle into a parking spot and cut the engine. Enid reluctantly loosened her grip and removed her helmet, her hair a bit tousled from the ride.

"Damn, that bike is fast" Enid said, beaming in amusement as she handed the helmet back to Wednesday.

"Yeah it is" Wednesday replied, her gaze was steady. "Would you like a ride home after your shift as well?"

Enid's smile widened. "I would love that."

As they made their way into the cafe, Yoko looked up from behind the counter, her eyes widening at the sight of them together.

"Well, well, look who decided to show up in style," she teased, a grin spreading across her face.

Enid laughed, feeling a blush rise to her cheeks. "Yeah, Wednesday gave me a ride."

Yoko grinned. "I see. Nice bike, by the way."

Wednesday nodded. "Thank you." she glanced at Enid again. "I'll see you later?"

Enid smiled and nodded "Yeah"

Wednesday gave a small nod, then turned and made her way out of the cafe, the sound of the doorbell chiming softly as she exited.

Enid watched through the window as Wednesday drove off on her motorcycle, the sleek machine disappearing down the street.

Yoko nudged Enid's shoulder, snapping her out of her reverie. Enid looked at her friend, who had a mischievous glint in her eye.
