Wednesday and Enid were still in bed, the soft morning light filtering through the curtains casting a warm glow over them. The room was filled with a serene silence, broken only by the gentle rustling of pages as Wednesday read her book.

Enid lay beside her, nestled comfortably against Wednesday's side, her head resting on Wednesday's shoulder and her arm draped across her waist.

Wednesday's eyes flicked over the text, but her attention was divided. She could feel the steady rise and fall of Enid's breathing, the warmth of her body, and the occasional soft sigh that escaped her lips. It was a quiet, intimate moment that Wednesday had come to cherish.

Enid shifted slightly, snuggling closer to Wednesday.

"What are you reading?" she asked, her voice still heavy with sleep.

"'Frankenstein,'" Wednesday replied, her tone soft and unhurried. "Mary Shelley's masterpiece."

Enid smiled, her eyes half-closed as she nuzzled into the crook of Wednesday's neck. "I love how you find comfort in the strangest things."

Wednesday allowed herself a small smile, her hand gently stroking Enid's hair.

"I find comfort in you too," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.

Enid's heart swelled at the words, and she tightened her hold on Wednesday.

"I find comfort in you too," she echoed. "More than anything."

They lay there for a while, wrapped in each other's presence. The book was forgotten, Wednesday's attention was fully on Enid now. She traced idle patterns on Enid's back, enjoying the feeling of their closeness.

Enid sighed contentedly, the steady rhythm of Wednesday's touch lulling her into a pure bliss. After a long, comfortable silence, she spoke up.

"Wanna go get breakfast?" Her voice was gentle, filled with satisfaction.

Wednesday's eyes twinkled mischievously.

"I can have my breakfast here right now," she murmured, leaning in to gently bite Enid's shoulder.

Enid giggled at the sensation, the playful nip sending a ticklish shiver down her spine.

"Stop! It tickles!" she squealed, wriggling in Wednesday's embrace.

Wednesday chuckled, her eyes dancing with amusement.

"Ticklish, are we?" she teased, her fingers now playfully skimming over Enid's sides.

Enid's laughter bubbled up, filling the room with joy. She squirmed, trying to evade Wednesday's teasing fingers.

"Okay, okay! I surrender!" she gasped between giggles.

Wednesday finally relented, pulling Enid closer. Their laughter subsided, leaving them in a serene silence once more.

Wednesday pressed a soft kiss to Enid's forehead.

"You're too adorable," she whispered.

Enid looked up at her, eyes sparkling with love.

"And you're too irresistible," she replied, snuggling closer. "But seriously, let's get some breakfast. I'm starving."

Wednesday sighed dramatically but relented.

"Alright, let's get up then," she said, though she made no move to actually get out of bed.

Enid nudged her playfully. "Come on, I'll make us something delicious," she promised, finally sitting up and stretching.

Wednesday watched her with a small smile.
