39. Alejandro

Gray and I had a meeting together today which I was excited about. We hadn't actually done business together since he took over for Enzo and I took this as an excuse to have him sleep over the night before. Not that I needed an excuse but I still made one up when I asked him to spend the night. 

I finished tying my tie when I turned to see Gray waiting with a smile "Do you need help?" 

"Maybe"he said grinning from ear to ear 

"I know you know how to tie a tie." I said as I walked over to him tying it for him anyway 

"But I like when you do it. You get close to me it's hot." I chuckled and finished up. Gray lifted my glasses that I hadn't even noticed were in his hands and he placed them on my  face "Ready to go dimples?"

"Yup." I leaned in and kissed him, slapping his ass as I did. He chuckled against my lips and pulled away. 

I took his hand in mine and we walked down stairs. "Remember just because we're dating doesn't mean I'm giving you special treatment."

"Oh but you totally are."

He rolled his eyes "Yes but you can't make it obvious." I chuckled 

"We'll work together. We work well together"

"That we do." I stopped in the kitchen and grabbed us waters "No I need coffee" he said 

"I don't want you getting another head ache again you had literally no water the other night it's how you got sick." he sighed and took the water from me, taking a sip as I went to also make him coffee.

I've been making him drink more water since he got sick at the bar last week just in case. I haven't seen Nick since and we haven't texted all that much since I've been with Gray everyday. 

"So the Santos have three ambassadors coming in to meet with us do you know their names?" he asked

"George, Lucas, Carlos." he nodded. "Did you read up on them"

"I have people for that."

"It's always good to know your clients." I poured the coffee into two cups and handed him one "Lucas has two kids 12 and 7, Carlos is only 19 he's pretty new to this, and George has been heading international relationships since 2014 so he's well known in Italy."

"Got it." he smiled at me and poked my cheek "You're so pretty."

"You need me to talk huh?"

"And smart."

"Look Alejandro, it's simple we want 5 precent of the next load from each branch" Lucas said 

"And I told you the Costas aren't a part of this business deal."

"And when they retaliate against you for constantly keeping them out of things like this?"

"I'd like to see them fucking try." Gray said as he twirled his gun in his hand. He was sat next to me. 

Lucas ignored him "We're offering our protection."

"That's what everyone offers. It's done me no good."

"Mr.Knight." Gray had not allowed them to call him Grayson "You're new to this you need the protection." 

"My army is already the size of yours and half of the Costas I don't need anything. What you're asking is unreasonable."

"That's Enzo's army you have nothing at the moment." his jaw clenched. Although he had all of my people behind him and most of Enzo's Lucas was right no one respected him as much as Enzo.

"What about 7% of mine, 3 of Grays,  and the protection you offered me goes to him on top of the protection you offered him."

Gray turned to me and furrowed his eyes brows "What do you get from this deal? A blow job from your little boyfriend" Carlos said with a chuckle and the rest of the men froze

I looked up at him "Get out." 

"Aleja-" George started 

"If you leave now I won't kill you." I said with a sadistic smile 

"Actually. I'd like to walk him out." Gray said as he stood up and grabbed Carlos by the collar of his shirt. I knew he was going to beat him but with the look I gave him he knew not to kill him. 

When Gray walked out I looked back at Lucas and George "New deal. You only get 2.5% from each of us and again all the protection goes to him." he knew immediately I would no longer offer any more

"That still does nothing for you."

"The way I see it all my protection is his and soon enough all his protection will be mine. Soon enough it will pay off. And your friend is right I will get one hell of a blow job." The guys chuckled and stood up signaling the meeting was over and the held out their hands 

"I'll send the paperwork over within the hour."

"I look forward to working with you both in the future."

"Give our best to Mr.Knight."Lucas said

"I'll send Carlos back alive...maybe not in one piece though."

They smiled and walked out of my office. A few seconds later Gray came back in "Where's Carlos?"

"Being carried out of here with what's their names." I nodded and eyed the blood on his jacket "So what happened?"

"2.5% of our product and all protection goes to you."

"Ale. You shouldn't have done that . What about you."

I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him and smirked "You could find a way to pay me back I'm sure." he smirked, forgetting about that fact that I shifted the focus of the deal onto him

"Let's get out of here." we started walking out when my phone buzzed.

Expecting it to be an email from George I looked down 

Nick: Miss ya

I smiled. 

Me: Miss you too we should hang out soon!

Nick: Tonight?

Me: No I'm with Gray but pick another day!

"Who you smiling at?" Gray asked 

"Nick just wanted to hang out." I shrugged but Gray pinned me to the wall 

"Ale. Be honest. Is something going on between you guys."

"What! No! Gray he is just a friend" and that was the whole truth. I was starting to feel things for Gray beyond like and I wouldn't want to jeopardize  it. Nick was only a friend and I think he understood that. He's been respectful of the boundaries I made because of Gray

"You promise?"

"I promise we're just friends."

He smiled. His lips came down to my neck and he started kissing harshly "I can't wait to get home close the blinds."
