The bell rang throughout the school signaling the end of the class period. The scene changed to the outside of the Care of Magical Creatures classroom. Several Hufflepuff girls exited the classroom with Cathy following and closing the door behind her.
"Bye, professor." the girls said in unison.
Cathy smiled as she locked the door to her classroom. "Enjoy the rest of your day girls." She smiled.
James looked over to his sister. "You really embraced being a teacher."
"Is that a criticism?" Cathy questioned.
"Just a comment." James answered.
"Oh. Okay." Cathy seemed unsure for how else to answer.
Cathy walked away in the opposite direction as the girls. As Cathy walked along the corridor she stopped when she spotted several students laughing and pointing at the end of the corridor.
"What's happening over there?" Lily wondered.
After stopping for a moment to tilt her head in curiosity, Cathy walked forward to see what was causing the commotion. Nothing could have prepared her for what she saw.
There, walking along the corridors, was Filch wearing a bright pink dressed with a bonnet with a light-yellow bow. Walking next to him was his cat Ms. Norris in a tight sheep costume.
"What the actual hell!" Sirius exclaimed.
"Holy mother of Merlin." Marlene shouted as she and most of the people burst into laughter.
Filch looked incredibly angry and ashamed at the same time. Even several teachers has a hard time keeping the smiles and giggles from spilling out.
Cathy in her shock quickly covered her mouth to keep from smiling or laughing. The redhead walked toward the Hogwarts caretaker in a hurry as more students laughed and pointed at Filch who looked more vile than usual.
"Mr. Filch," Cathy coughed to disguise her laugh, "what are you wearing?"
"Not even she can hold back!" Evan gasped trying to catch his breath.
Filch looked at Cathy confused. He looked down at his clothes and then back at Cathy.
"Is there something wrong, Professor Potter?" Filch asked.
"Is he blind?" Gideon questioned.
Cathy looked more confused than Filch. "The dress?"
"What dress?" Filch questioned.
"He must be!" Fabian exclaimed.
Cathy looked around and the students kept laughing at Filch. She had a look of realization appear on her face as she suspected who was behind this stunt.
