The scene shifted once again, returning to the Gryffindor quidditch team as they were putting on their house uniforms. Harry was pulling his scarlet robes over his shoulders while Ryan was seated on a bench putting on his boots.

"Why aren't we playing Slytherin like we usually do?" Fred asked the team.

"Who are they playing?" James enquired curiously.

"Their captain said it was because their seeker has an injured arm." Oliver answered him. "But it's obvious why they're doing it. Don't want to play in this weather. Think it'll damage their chances—"

As if on cue a clap of thunder and lightning roared outside. The heavy rain and strong winds smacked against the tarp that housed the Gryffindor quidditch team.

"There's nothing wrong with Malfoy's arm!" said Harry furiously. "He's faking it!"

"This is just shameful." Regulus said. "If they're going to lie, couldn't they have at least made up something believable."

"I know that, but we can't prove it," said Wood bitterly, "And we've been practicing all those moves assuming we're playing Slytherin, and instead it's Hufflepuff—"

"On the plus side, that means that they weren't prepared to face off against us either." Ryan interrupted.

"True," Wood nodded, "but their styles quite different. They've got a new Captain and Seeker, Cedric Diggory—"

Angelina and Katie suddenly giggled.

"Which one's Cedric Diggory?" Harry asked his cousin in a low volume.

Ryan lowered his voice as he answered: "Oh, he's the tall, good-looking bloke." Harry shot his cousin a strange look and Ryan looked rather defensive. "What? He is."

"Hmm, interesting." Cathy murmured.

"What is?" Regulus asked.

"Oh nothing."

"I don't know why you're worried," Fred said impatiently, "Oliver, Hufflepuff is a pushover. Last time we played them, Harry caught the Snitch in about five minutes, remember?"

"Rude." Someone, most likely from Hufflepuff, stated.

"We were playing in completely different conditions!" Wood shouted, his eyes bulging slightly. "Diggory's put a very strong side together! He's an excellent Seeker! I was afraid you'd take it like this! We mustn't relax! We must keep our focus! Slytherin is trying to wrong-foot us! We must win! We—"

Wood was cut off from the sound of aluminum wrapping being torn. Everyone looked to the source of the sound which was Ryan unwrapping what looked to be a bar of muggle food.
