As Harry walked out the pub, the camera continued to follow him. As he opened the door, the scene shifted to a younger Cathy walking into a room in the house that was previously owned by her mothers family.
"This is trippy." Cathy murmured.
Cathy had two cups of tea in each hand and walked over to Mary who was sitting on a sofa that was set in front of a window. Mary thanked Cathy as the witch gave her a cup and sat down across from her.
"Anything in particular we looking at or..." Cathy glanced outside the window and looked about to see if there was anything of interest.
Mary just laughed lightly. "I was just enjoying the peace. After the last few days we had, I think we've all deserved it."
"Ooh, girl talk." Evan said shifting slightly in his seat.
Cathy nodded. She folded her legs together on the sofa and sipped her tea as she stared outside the window. The sun seemed to be rising and was brightening up the entire world outside their window.
"How's Thomas?" Mary enquired.
"Distraught, betrayed, angered, overwhelmed." Cathy listed off. "It's times like this that I don't like being an empath. One person feeling too many things at once."
"Ugh, I'm getting a headache just thinking about it." Cathy said rubbing her temples.
Mary shifted in her spot and sat up a bit.
"What's that like?" she asked curiously.
"It's sort of like putting something really strong-tasting in your mouth. But before you can lock in on what it is like, it changes from sour to sweet to spicy to mild to hot to cold. It's really annoying if you're not in the mood to be patient and understanding."
"I see how that would annoy you." Mary nodded.
"Plus, I think it's best we give him time to come to terms with the fact that not only that he has an older half-brother trying to kill him but that said half-brother is also...how did he phrase it again?"
"Magic Hitler." Mary told her as she chuckled.
Several people mostly consisting of the muggle-borns chuckled.
The two witches laughed lightly to themselves and were staring outside the window. They continued to sip their tea in silence.
"Hey." Cathy turned to Mary again. "Can I ask you something?"
"You just did but go ahead." Mary said.
"Why did you become a healer?" Cathy enquired. "I mean literately everyone we know and their cousins decided to take sides in the war."
