The scene faded away from the bridge outside and re-emerge in what looked like a small, dark cell. In the corner was Peter Pettigrew huddled and whispering to himself in low volumes.
"He looks even worse if that's possible." Marlene says.
The door opened and light shone into the room. Peter turned his head and despite the light creating a shadowy silhouette, the female figure combined with the strands of dark red hair made it clear who had come in.
"This won't be good for him." Evan whispers.
The door to the cell closed with a creak and the turn of the heavy lock outside. Peter dared not to move from his spot and tried in vain to make himself small in the corner.
Cathy just stood there observing Peter's huddled state. She looked void of any emotion. There was a block of stone that was stuck out from the wall. Cathy sat down there and crossed her legs as she continued to watched.
"It's been a while, Peter." She said breaking the silence.
Peter shivered. Despite her calm tone, her words cut him like razors.
Cathy broke her gaze on Peter and looked off to another corner of the cell.
"I have to say I am impressed." Cathy continued. "Staying with the Weasley's was awfully clever of you. Arthur's job in the ministry and their connection to the Order made their home the perfect place to lay low and gather intel."
"And the whole 'Scabbers' thing? Staying in Animagus form all these years?" Cathy actually let out a laugh. "James must have told you that I can't hear or feel your thoughts and emotions if you stayed that way but to be a rat full time all these years takes balls and for that I applaud you."
"She's usually so emotional it's freaky seeing her like this." Fabian said.
Peter still remained huddled in the corner. He didn't dare to move or make a sound.
Cathy looked at the terrified man and still remained void of any strong emotions.
"Your lack of response is turning this conversation into a monologue." Cathy told Peter.
The witch quietly walked over to him and gently touched him on the shoulder. Peter yelped and jumped to the floor. He rolled to the other corner and stayed huddled and as small as he could make himself.
"Peter. Get up." Cathy said with a slight firmness to her still calm voice.
"I...I'm sorry..." Peter whimpered.
"Get up." Cathy repeated. Peter made inaudible whimpering sounds and Cathy looked to a wall to her right for a brief second and then her eyes returned to Peter. "I said, get up."
