"What it looks like is what it is." Sirius said.
"These two really have no qualms about taking the life of a human being?" Professor McGonagall said in surprise.
"I'm not that surprised." Evan said. "Just look at all the crazy they're related to."
At that he turned to Bellatrix Lestrange and her husband.
Professor Snape looked at the scene in front of him with an expression that consisted of both confusion and surprise. After years of dealing with Cathy and her antics, one would think it would have better prepared him for such a situation.
"Miss Black," he said turning to Cassie who suddenly stood up and moved away from the piano she was leaning against, "would you like to explain what it is that I'm looking at."
Cassie quickly tried to come up with something to say. "We caught Sirius Black." Was what she managed to say.
"Is he really not going to ask about what Ryan was about to do?" Marlene questioned.
"I just as easily would have assumed that Black had it coming." Snape said snidely.
Professor Snape looked around and at the still figures of the students in the room. His eyes fell on Harry and a look of almost relief appeared before he covered it up with a sneer at the sight of Professor Lupin.
"Seeing as our dear Professor Lupin has his wand trained at Potter and the rest of his foolish entourage, is it safe to assume that we have discovered the person who aided Black with getting into the castle?" he asked.
"It seems so." Ryan said. "How did you know where we were?"
Snape turned to Ryan and looked annoyed at the question. "I followed Professor Lupin as he quickly made his way to his former kennel."
"What do you mean?" Cassie asked.
"Back in his school days Lupin would sneak over here to transform during the full moon." Snape said. "You see your beloved professor is—"
"A werewolf. Yeah, we've covered this already." Ryan said dismissively.
Snape looked more annoyed than impressed at Ryan.
"Son of a bitch." James cursed under his breath.
"And how, mister Black, did you find your way to this dwelling?" he enquired.
Ryan cleared his throat and he got ready and Snape rolled his eyes knowing what he was about to say was a mixture of facts and fiction.
"There we were minding our own business strolling innocently through the lush green hills of the school," Ryan began, "when suddenly a large and vicious black dog appeared out of nowhere and attack our good friend Ronald. Although similar in appearance, this dog was not the same one that I befriended earlier in the school year."
