Felix was sitting in a meeting, a important one according to everyone there but he wasn't interested.

Looking at the bar graphs and his father explaining stuff made his eyes rolling badly

Not wanting to, while actually wanting to disturb the peace in the meeting hall, Felix decides to call the Little Munchkin and ask if she reached home safe

"Little Munchkin, you reached home safe?" Felix asked

The completely silent room when Ji-Yeong asked If they had any doubts was interrupted by his son's loud voice on the call.

The sheer amount of silence in the room and on the call had Felix concentrating on the person's breath whom he was on call with, he could feel his heart tugging rapidly, his wolf connecting to him, head titled aside Felix waited patiently.

For someone who doesn't like these slow stuff and would snap soo easily with anger was patient enough to concentrate only on the soft yet pulled up breaths on the other side of call

"Hello"

When the voice fell in Felix's ear, eyes widened, a smile of unknown played on the lips as Felix stood straight getting up from the chair as everyone looked at him strangely

Felix left the meeting room, walking straight to his Cabin and closing the door while sitting on his chair

Felix took his time to answer the call back too

"Hi!! Did Munchkin reach home safe?" Felix asked

"She did, I took her back home when I found her back in school" Hyunjin answered softly, his own heart beating erratically with airy feeling

"Oh!! I'm happy about that" Felix answered waiting for Hyunjin to continue who really didn't know what to tell more.

Biting on his plush lips while looking at his hands and playing with a ring. Hyunjin stayed quiet for some more seconds

"Well..... Thank you for keeping my daughter safe and not harming her" Hyunjin said

"No biggie though, Little Munchkin is cute and I would not wish to hurt her" Felix answered with a biggest smile on his lips, a soft giggle was heard too.

He didn't know, why he wanted to hear more of the deep voice, the soft giggle, the deep voice sending waves of different emotions in his body, stirring a lot of his quiet nerves, exciting him in the most subtle way possible.

Yes just the breaths, occasional sighs and slow talk laced with deep voice had Hyunjin's wolf excited which was uncommon, unprofessional and not at all likely

Because only during sexual arousal times, Hyunjin's wolf initiates talks to him and most of the time, almost always is quiet, avoiding Hyunjin, his needs and rambles...while rarely opening its mouth to Mock Hyunjin in the dirtiest and degrading way to crumble Hyunjin's heart.

They could never share a peaceful happy moment.

Hyunjin's wolf Hated Myeon-ie too and Hyunjin hated his own wolf for that thought.

They never got along.

But for first time in his soo many years, he could feel his wolf excited, he could feel it communicate it to him.

The call ended long back but Hyunjin couldn't get the voice out of his mind and  heart.
