She mumbled snuggling closer into Felix's arms avoiding Hyunjin's touch and his gaze.

Felix's eyes flickered to Hyunjin whose eyes filled with tears at the distance

"Wife-"

"I-I'll be o-out"

Hyunjin stuttered with slight tremor in his fingers as he curled his fingers in fist pulling a tight lipped smile for Felix

He doesn't want Felix to worry about him .

Felix needs to focus on himself and his recovery.

Hyunjin walked out in quick strides, Ji-Yeong's gaze followed him before looking at the curious eyes of Felix

"I'll see him-"

"Don't!! You will only hurt him more, like you always do. Just stay away"

Felix snapped in low voice holding his daughter tighter while looking into his father's eyes with those teary flickering eyes with turmoil of emotions.

Some choices are always hard..... Even if Felix still...... But Felix's hate for his Father is much higher over that every healthy hearty emotion he has for his father.

Ji-Yeong responded rather calmly his fingers twitching to hold Felix close but he couldn't the invisible wall between them was cutting deeper into his heart — Does My son feel the same?

Ji-Yeong interfered Hyunjin's ramble accompanied by those teary eyes with a careful gentle tone.

Hyunjin sniffed pulling at his shirt to cover the blood filled arms, he looks awful

Ji-Yeong insisted meeting Hyunjin's eyes, Ji-Yeong's eyes were calm, held warmth that had Hyunjin nod bowing his down biting on his lip.

Hyunjin heard Felix's father talking to the doctor while his legs started hurting from standing for soo long, he was sure his knees were crying tears of blood.

He shuffled a little and immediately stiffened when the elder's eyes fell on his movement

"Is something wrong?"

"N-no"

Hyunjin shook his head twirling his wedding ring trying to smile through pain only for the other to not hurt him like his parents did or like how his parents did to Felix
