It was immediately then that Hal flew Megamind over to the top part of a nearby skyscraper and wrapped him up completely in rope, while dangling the poor guy like a spider at the edge of the roof.

"So how exactly is this plan going to work?" Megamind asked blankly, knowing that there's not a lot he could do, just yet.

"Easy." Hal spoke simply before grabbing ahold of his camera and turned it on to live mode.

At which, various TV sets are immediately switched to the main channel that Hal's camera had been tuned to.

"First, I'm going to ask you some questions about what you have contributed to this city. And for every lie you tell to the people, will result this rope dangling you further to your doom. But, if you confess, then I may spare you from dropping so much feet in the air, from the rooftop. Haha." Hal said, with a dark chuckle.

"Wow. It sounds like I'm in for a real face off with the truth." Megamind spoke, sarcastically, shaking his head as he embraces what he has to face for the time being.

"Shall we begin?" Hal asked, rhetorically before looking into the camera and announces his demise to the people of the town.

"Welcome, people of Metro City. To yet another interview with Megamind. Only this time, we will be seeing what he has to say about the deeds he has done for this city and the lies that he has been telling us all this time. At which, there will be only one way to find out what is real and what is all in your fantasy about your so-called hero. For the whole truth and nothing but the truth, shall set you free." Hal announced in a sneer before turning to Megamind with a wicked, evil smile on his face.

"First question, did you really wanted me to be your hero in placement of Metro Man or was it all a game to you?" Hal asked, curiously.

"Well, to be honest, you weren't a fan favorite in choice, but the moment that you had Metro Man's genetic power capsule stuck up in your nose, I figured that you were the right one for the job. Or at least, for now in a timely sense." Megamind answered honestly.

Which stumped Hal for a bit but shook it off, hoping that he would let one lie slip any moment now.

"Alright, I'll give you that. Did you fake being my space dad?" Hal asked.

"Of course, any fool wouldn't believe they have been played by the one person, they hated the most. And you happened to be one of them." Megamind spoke bitterly, with his teeth gritted.

"You're wrong! I believed it. And you humiliated me for it too." Hal growled before letting go of the tight end of the rope.

"Ahhhh!" Megamind yelped loudly as an extension of the rope loosened off, causing him to fall.

However, it wasn't long before the tight end of the rope had eventually caught him from falling further and yanked him back in place.

"Tsk. That was enraging to hear. Be thankful that I didn't let you drop all the way. I still have many more questions to go." Hal threatened, furiously.

"Heh. That wasn't even part of the rules." Megamind heaved out, nervously from the panic of the near-death fall.

"Too bad. My rules, my way of running the show. So I hope that you won't anger me like that again." Hal warned before coming up with another question for his audience.

While Megamind quickly changed plans and decided to silently cut off the rope with his laser supersuit devices that were worn around him like a bracelet.

Right from under the Tyrant's nose.

In an attempt to swing his way out of the place with the bit of rope left that he'll use to his advantage.
