I sipped on my tea, scrolling through youtube. I had just made a fortune from the extra mission I did a week ago, but it almost cost me my life. But atleast I'm living good now.

*Knock*

Fuck's sake.

I pried open the door, and saw Sam peeking through.

"Tea?"

As me and Sam sat down, I decided to cut to the chase.

"What do you want me to do? I know you don't love me enough to just stop by for tea."

"I'm sorry Kiyotaka, but the world's at risk, and we need your services."

"Me? There's eight billion people to choose from. Just send an army or something."

"That's the thing, if we do, the world's gonna get blown up."

"That would kill the people doing it too." I muttered, sipping on the cup.

"They're not humans."

Sam briefed me on what had happened. Earth had decided to extract precious minerals from an asteriod, the psyche 16. But it turned out it was a foreign object from a foreign planet, and it's inhabitants were really displeased about our meddling. They had infiltrated into the west of Greenland, and a bomb was threatened to blow up the planet if the materials were not returned.

"Just give them their shit back."

"That's the thing," Sam whispered, "we don't want to. The things we extracted Kiyotaka, can propell us a few hundred years into the future. It's, it's amazing!"

"So you want me to go because you lot are a bunch of greedy bitches?"

"Uhm...Yes."

I sighed.

"100 million. The goverment is covering all the cost."

"..."

I just called them greedy. But would I accept this mission for the cash, and be a greedy bitch.
