+ ->The cold air nipped on Penelope Silverthorn as she fought her way down the chaotic mass of students on the Quidditch Field and tried to ignore the deafening noise of the game's victory toward the Gryffindors.
By the time she reached down the stands, the once-loud and boisterous chants began to shift onto a more lower excitement as the students prepared to take the celebration to the common room.
With the crowd thinning, Penelope's eyes scanned around hoping that she'll at least have the chance to spot the frustrated Slytherin coach in the sea of students.
And she did, but the sight before her was unexpected from afar.
"Is that really the best you could do?"
Coach Sallow's frustration was evident in his voice. You could hear it from afar if it weren't for the opposing team's yells that blocked it off.
"Neither of you touched the quaffle the proper way," Sebastian yelled, "You gave Gryffindors free points with your lack of movement."
Penelope watched the low-defeated faces of a few Slytherin players who set up their brooms into place and looked shamelessly at the coach.
"But it wasn't in our control, Coach Sa—"
Before one of the players could finish his sentence, Sebastian interrupted him forcefully.
"I don't care whose fault it is, all that matters is that we lost. And I'm not gonna stand here and watch you make a joke out of the Slytherin House."
Penelope couldn't help but let out a small, concerned breath as she watched Sebastian berate the players.
Sebastian's words were harsh and cruel, and she could see the impact they were having on the kids. The players looked discouraged and scared, their spirits crushed by Coach Sallow's relentless barrage of criticism.
It didn't seem normal. The yell out toward the students at least — sure, Penelope was familiar with Sebastian's frustrating tactics in the past, but toward the students? What fault did they have on a cheating game?
"It's disappointing, really," Sebastian bickered.
Penelope suddenly rose from the darkness, purposely stumbling herself into the secluded area of Slytherins, and walked in a posture to confront the chaos.
