" Angel! Angel are you okay??"
Niffty quickly ran up to the spider that fell down the stairs. One of the steps was rather worn out as they were coming down. It creaked a bit when Niffty stepped on it but it couldn't handle Angel's weight as his foot went inside. Causing the boy to lose his footing and go spiraling downwards screaming.
Angel fell on the dirty floorboard with a 'thuck' as dust went flying all around him, causing him to cough violently. His light fell down beside him, now going a bit dimmer. Niffty soon joined beside him, checking for any injuries. " I'm *cough* fine toots.." his voice seemed to echo throughout the room as a rat scurried away.
He quickly grabbed the flashlight and gave it a few hits as the colour returned to being bright as it once was. Angel and Niffty held each others hand as they shone the light inside.
There was a big empty space in front of them with some pillars around. No, not completely empty, as they moved the flashlights, they saw a few crates and barrels scattered around in the corner. The space had to be twice as big as the cabins. There were dust and spiderwebs everywhere.
He again gulped as they stepped in, their footfalls echoed with every step. Soon enough they reached the other side of the room. " A-Angel... what's that??" Niffty said pointing down at something.
Angel quickly flashed his flashlight towards it, it was a broken boby doll, a few cockroaches scattered away from the hollow side of the face. " Eugh...what the.." He quickly looked away from it as they focused on going to investigate the crates instead. He didn't dare to go towards the open ones since he saw a rat scurrying to get in there, so there must be a nest of them or something. Instead he went to a closed one.
He handed Niffty his flashlight as blew the dust away from its side crouching down. Most of the paint had already worn off, so it was indistinguishable to see what was written. After looking for a bit, he picked up a rusty looking crow bar close enough to the boxes. On the count to three, he popped open the lid as they both peeked inside.
" These are..cans..." Niffty picked up one. " These are canned mushrooms...and this one's biscuits! They look old!!" Niffty said holding them. They also found some old daily life necessities like pots and teared up clothes. It was clear people once used to live here. Angel quickly began to put two and two together. " This..this must have been some kind of shelter." He whispered looking at Niffty.
" We need to let others know."

.You stood there agape for some time. Melody looked at you in confusion before she opened the door fully and took in the visitor. Her eyes widened seeing the handsome stranger as they locked eyes together.
Jake was wearing a loose grey hoodie with black loose pants. His black hair looked a bit unruly and messy. However that only added to his looks. Melody gasped as she sat Husk down on the floor and nudged you in the arms.
" You didn't tell me you had a handsome boyfriend as well~ how dare you!"
If you could melt into the floor right then and there, you would have. It's far better than the flow of embarrassment that just went through you. You were going to give her a good smack as soon as Jake was out of the house.
Jake just chuckled and leaned down towards Melody. " That would be something. but I'm afraid I'm just her good ol' neighbour. Here to make amends with girlie right here. For what it's worth, I think you're cute as well. " He said with a wink making Melody flush.
Oh no, this was not happening. You were not letting these two mingle together and let him seduce your precious cousin. With what you know about Melody, this guy was soon going to be her new crush if you let things just roll out. He had both the looks and the vibe for it.
