"Let go of me you monster!" Peach cried out in vain as she was lifted out of the dance hall of her own castle. Tears were streaming down her face as the love of her life had seemingly perished at the hands of this creature.

"Now now dear," Bowser grinned. "Forget that pathetic plumber. You're with me now, ok?"

"I will never be with you!" Peach yelled, bashing Bowser's chest with all her might.

"Ha ha, that tickles," bowser said mockingly as he ran out of the castle and onto his airship. "I don't think you have many options now, do you Princess?"

Peach groaned as she desperately tried to break free, but Bowser opted to lead the way into his private quarters, where a pair of koopa troopas threw the grieving princess into a cage. Bowser sat on his couch, basking in his victory as Peach slumped down, facing the timber wall of the room. "Princess," Bowser explained, "I have no intention of harming you. I want you to be at my side as we rule the Galaxy!"

Rule the Galaxy? Peach gasped in horror. The last time he attempted that almost resulted in the destruction of the entire universe, and if it were not for Rosalina and the lumas' intervention then every single living being, object and even atom would not be here now, just minding their own business. "Don't you dare!' Peach ordered. "Last time you tried that you nearly destroyed the universe!"

Bowser chuckled to himself. "Well, that was actually Mario's doing. He destroyed my reactor, and since he is no longer here, there is nothing to fear."

Peach wasn't convinced, she never would be, yet Bowser would not stop trying. Two koopa guards entered the room, explaining that everyone else had been accounted for, except Rosalina. Bowser was slightly annoyed, but he felt she wouldn't pose a threat. As a reward for bringing him the mostly positive news, the guards were permitted to stay.

Bowser continued trying to woo his weeping prisoner. He offered her a bunch of small, pecking pirhana plants, but that was rebuked with no hesitation as Peach remained sulking in the corner. She was beginning to test his patience. He has repeatedly offered to let her live in luxury with him, yet every time he did so she refused. Why? Its not like he has done anything bad to her, right? "Peach, if you don't want me, then that's fine, but don't expect me to show much mercy if you say no. I will give you until we arrive back at my palace to make your decision."

Peach barely listened, her mind was made up years ago, ever since Mario first rescued her from the claws of the koopa king. Even if she died as a result, she would not join him, and she could maybe be re united with Mario, her actual love. She fell asleep, almost at peace with her impending fate.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Peach was abruptly woken up by the pair of koopa guards that remained in Bowser's quarters. they had arrived. Bowser re emerged from addressing his troopers up above. He bent down, every breath he exerted onto Peach's face felt hotter and hotter. her time had come. "So, princess, what will it be?"

Peach grinned. "Not you!" she yelled, poking Bowser in the eye in the process of doing so. Bpwser roared in pain. That hurt. His breathing became more intense and hotter. "You have disrespected me for the last time he roared as he ripped the cage open. As he did so, Peach saw her chance and slid under his legs. the two guards went to pounce on her, but her fighting skills dealt with them with ease. Bowser growled before chasing her. "Get the princess!!" he yelled as the pair emerged onto the deck. Each trooper desperately tried to grasp the escaping princess but it made no difference. Each time she was attacked, Peach repelled each attempt with magnificence. She leapt off the ship as Bowser roared "NO!!!" She was not falling to her death, since her dress slowed her fall dramatically. "Bye, Bowser," she said with a wry smile.

She had escaped, but where to next? She headed for the coast, gently gliding downwards as she did so. She knew there was a small hut that she could stay in for a few days, then hopefully a miracle could happen and she would either be rescued, or she would find a boat.

A few days later, Peach emerged from the small hut, which was a far cry from the grandeur of her castle. She had found some spare clothes, hidden away in a chest, placing her dress on the table inside. This helped her avoid detection, but detection was the very thing she wanted as she saw an entire fleet of ships approach the coast of Bowser's kingdom. She flung her arms frantically, desperate to be noticed. she knew that this wasn't Bowser, but who was it? She then had an idea. She grabbed her dress and placed it on the fire outside, stoking the flames even more. She prayed that this would be enough.

"Hey, look!" Captain Toad exclaimed. He had noticed the fire that was brewing on the coastline. He used his telescope to examine this strange phenomenon. He dropped it in shock. "It's Peach!" he screamed in delight. Waluigi and the yoshi emerged from below. They picked up the dropped telescope an looked for themselves, one at a time of course.

"Quick, lets use a lifeboat," Waluigi suggested. The trio set forth, embarking a lifeboat before a kremling lowered it into the ocean. They had to hurry up, since the sun was about to set. Waluigi rowed so fast it was as if he was a living engine. They arrived in no time.

"Princess! Your Ok," the toad expressed in glee as he hugged her ragged garments tightly. the princess was pleasantly puzzled. It was a strange coalition, even stranger by the fact the toad explained that the boats belonged to the krmlings and the kongs.

"Waluigi?," she asked. "What made you help?"

The plumber frowned slightly but he could understand why she asked this. "Rosalina wanted to help everyone so I naturally joined, wanting to prove that i can be a hero."

Oh Wonderful!" she responded. "Is she here?"

"She's in there," Waluigi responded bluntly, pointing at the castle which was just visible on the darkening horizon.

Peach gasped. "Oh no!"

"She sacrificed herself to let me and this purple fellow escape," waluigi sadly explained, pointing at the yoshi. "She gave me this just in the nick of time." he pulled out Rosalina's wand, showing it to Peach. then Waluigi remembered. It was time. He pointed the wand uneasily towards the fleet, fearing that he would accidentally destroy it. His mind turned blank, except only what he desired to happen to the ships. He jabbed the tool forwards, and in the process, countless bubbles engulfed the ships, lifting them off the ground. He breathed a wonderful sigh of relief and joy. "Come, we best get back on," he told the trio as the boats elevated into the air.
