PERCY'S POV. *WANRING, SLIGHT CUSSING*
Mini Me was going on the field trip to the museum tomorrow. Annabeth was worried. She paced around my dorm non stop. I swore she was going to burn a hole right through the ground.
"Woman," I said. "Calm down."
"Percy, I will stab you and have no regrets if you ever tell me to calm down again," she snapped. I raised my hands in surrender. "There is only one solution to this situation-"
I said, "Taking a relaxing break--" at the same time she said, "sneak on the bus."
"Jesus, Annabeth!"
"Jesus?"
"We can't sneak on the bus!"
"Why not?"
"They'll kick us off!"
"No they won't, Chiron is chaperoning!"
"And so is Ms. Dodds! If she senses us, we are done for. A son of Poseidon and an extremely smart daughter of Athena? There's no way we won't go by un-sensed!" I said incredulously.
"First, un-sensed isn't an actual word," Annabeth snapped. My eye twitched. "And second, who cares if Mrs. Dodds senses us?"
"Because she plays an important role in me finding out I'm a demigod!" I drag an exhausted hand down my face.
"Listen Percy, I have a plan, we just need to complete it before they leave tomorrow morning," Annabeth said. If Annabeth had a plan, this had to go well.

"THIS IS NOT GOING WELL!" I screamed. Currently, I was riding a rogue Griffin. Annabeth's plan was to concoct a mother trucking potion. A potion. And as our last ingredient, a griffin feather.
I had stood over the sleeping griffin to grab a neck feather. When I tugged, the griffin shot awake, saw me on it's back and took off. I had grabbed it feathers in order to stay on, or else I would have taken a four hundred foot drop onto jagged stone that would have impaled me. So no thank you, I'd rather live.
"JUST JUMPED OFF!" said a dying-of-laughter Annabeth.
The griffin took a steep dive. *Excuse the French* "ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY! I'M STILL YOUNG!"
"YOU DOLT, THERE'S A RIVER UNDERNEATH YOU!"
Oh. Well that makes more since then her wishing for me to die. I slid off the griffin's back and plummeted. I willed the water to catch me mid arm, wrapping around me like a fist and slowly brought me down into the river. As soon as my feet hit the rocky shore of the river, the water splashed back to normal.
I looked up at Annabeth, who was waving her hands at me from an edge in the mountain. I rolled my eyes as I willed the water to bring her down to me.
"Your griffin feather, m'lady," I said as I stooped into a bow. I offered her the feather before straightening. "Please remind me what we're doing with them."
"How many times have I told you this?" She mumbled. "When we make the serum and drink it, our scent to monsters will be smudgy. So basically it would make us really hard to find."
"Great. How do we make it?"
"Add the griffin feather, the lizard tails, the three drachmas, the actual gold that's laced with the Mist, and monster dust. Oh and don't forget the sea water," she instructed.
"Are you sure this is going to work? It just sounds like those 'potions' Estelle likes to make, honestly," I said.

Inside Annabeth's dorm room, she heated up a pot on a hot plate, (which was a small, portable stove, for those who don't know what a hot plate is) and laid the ingredients in front of us. He mini clock read 3:46 A.M.
"How long will this take us?" I asked. "Since we've only got four hours and fourteen minutes until they get on the bus and leave."
"Two and half hours."
My jaw dropped to the floor. "Why?!"
"I don't know," she admitted. "It's just what the instructions say!"
The door slammed open. A red head girl that I'm sure I've seen before stormed in. She sneers at Annabeth who just raises a brow in return. The red head's crooked and lock nose reminds me of the Wicked Witch of the West. And her face hosted hundreds of freckles.
The familiarity was unnerving. I didn't think I've seen her around during classes at all.
"Well, well, well. What's the little witch brewing?" She mocked.
Annabeth roller her eyes. "Missing your minion, I see."
The red head's eyes found me. She scanned me from head to toe and I shifted uncomfortably. She looked at me like she recognized me. Did she?She jerked her chin at me and her eyes narrowed.
"Who's this?" The red head sneered. But her gaze said something different. Though I couldn't read it, Annabeth definitely could. Her gaze snapped to the red head's eyes and she glared.
"My boyfriend, Ajax," Annabeth snapped. "Leave, Susan."
"Are you sure?" Susan's head cocked as she scanned me. "He looks... familiar." Something about her appearance shifted. I could've sworn I heard growling. Annabeth glared at Susan again as she came completely in the dorm and plopped herself on the bed.
I palmed Riptide. "You're a monster."
"Percy, you don't just say things like that to people you don't---" Annabeth paused as Susan's entire form began to shift. The arms and hands turned into long, scary wings with talons as sharps as knives. Her mouth and nose started to form into a beak.
"Oh... shit," said Annabeth.
