Episode 23 Continued - He's Not Dead
I knocked casually on Cammie's bedroom door. "Cammie, are you in there?"
I heard a sigh and a sudden yawn, and Cammie parted the door immediately.
She looked tired as hell but gazed up hazily. "Oh... hey, Sebastian. Is everything alright?"
"Yes," I said then, hugging a pillow around myself, "I was on my way to give master a new pillow. Hers is a little ruffled and she doesn't look comfortable on it. But I thought I'd stop by here first."
"I was wondering if you could give master this in the morning," I said then, handing her a letter. "She is fast asleep right now and I think it would be better."
Cammie just gazed up, taking the letter. "Oh, of course... why?"
But I was already walking off.
I felt her staring after me but didn't do anything else to explain.
After stepping through the halls, I ended up at master's bedroom, opening the door silently and shutting it behind me.
I then let go of the pillow, lifting her head as she moaned in annoyance, but stuffed it under her.
She just remained asleep, but I knew I possibly woke her up.
I just left the room, knowing there was one last thing I had to do in the kitchen before returning.
