Episode 45 - Her Butler, A Monster
It was cold but hot at the same time... the wind was blasting in my ears, and I could barely hear anything.
Sebastian told me to close my eyes, and I listened to him for once, letting my lashes fall as he took care of this task in front of me.
But I could feel Sebastian's aura swarming around so crazily... the insanity in the darkness, the sharpness of the wind, the bitterness of his anger. I could feel it, and I could live it.
"Master," Sebastian said then, voice dark and so distorted, it sent chills through me, "it's time to start counting."
I swallowed something hard, clenching my fists at my sides as the wind around me howled louder, bursting through my ear drums.
But I spoke then, "Ten."
The sharpness of the cold sliced through me, making the bitter wind swing my hair over my shoulders and into the darkness ahead of me.
"Nine."
Edward yelled from a distance, footsteps trotting along the courtyard as he dodged Sebastian's attacks.
"Eight."
A sudden wind slammed into the ground, bursting through my ears as I winced.
"Seven."
Edward yelled again, swinging through the air with his hands, and I could... hear it.
"Six."
"Satan!" Edward yelled then, but another force slammed into the ground. "You tricked me!"
"Five."
Sebastian's chuckle filled the entire area, covering me in a daze and a sudden paleness as the darkness consumed me.
"Four."
His laugh was the sound of death himself, promising to murder every ounce of your sanity and offering nothing in return. A true demon, a dark creature... the devil in disguise.
