Izumi paced around her room, biting her nails anxiously. It had been a week since Izuku disappeared, and the guilt gnawed at her. For the first time, even her father, Hisashi, seemed genuinely worried.
Hisashi:Where could that brat be?
Hisashi muttered, his tone laced with suppressed anger.
Inko was frantically making phone calls, her face pale and drawn. She dialed Fuyumi Todoroki’s number, hoping for any news.
Fuyumi picked up the phone, her voice filled with concern.
Fuyumi:No, Izuku hasn’t been at our place lately. Are you sure he’s missing? He ran away… Inko, I’m so sorry.
As Fuyumi tried to console the distressed Inko, Rei Todoroki entered the room, overhearing the conversation. When the call ended, Rei’s face was etched with shock.
Rei:What happened?
Rei asked, her voice trembling.
Fuyumi, her eyes brimming with tears, replied,
Fuyumi:Izuku... they can’t find him. He’s been missing for more than a week.
Rei’s shock turned into urgency as she stormed to the twins' room.
Rei:Shoto, Shiori, come out now!
Shiori:What do you want, Mom?
Shiori grumbled, clearly annoyed.
Rei:Do you know Izuku is missing?
Rei demanded, her voice shaking.
The twins exchanged uninterested glances.
Shoto:So maybe he just ran off like he always does
Shoto replied indifferently.
Fuyumi:He has been missing for more than a week!
Fuyumi cried, tears streaming down her face.
Fuyumi:Even your father is actively looking for him. Can’t you see? What if something happened to Izuku? What if he’s dead right now? Why are you so nonchalant about him? Do you wish for something to happen to him that you’ll never see him again?
The twins were stunned into silence, their mother’s words sinking in. What if something did happen to Izuku?
Rei:if Izuku truly ran away, he would have been back by now. Obviously, he couldn’t survive on his own. But for him to be missing for more than a week…
Rei continued, her voice breaking.
Rei:Seeing a defenseless child with no one to help him, no quirk… they could kidnap him or do far worse things
Shiori’s facade cracked. The possibility that something terrible had happened to Izuku was too much to bear.
Endeavor entered the room, his expression a mix of annoyance and concern.
Endeavor:We’ve looked everywhere. Even my sidekicks haven’t found him. Izuku has possibly been kidnapped.

Meanwhile, at the Bakugo household, Mitsuki called for her twins. Katsumi and Katsuki trudged out of their room, clearly irritated.
Katsuki:You must have a good reason to wake us up
Katsuki said, annoyance evident in his voice.
Mitsuki slapped the back of his head hard.
Katsuki:what’s your problem, Mom?
