Izuku sat at the far end of the classroom, his nose buried in his notebook. He had filled it with detailed notes about various heroes and their quirks, meticulously analyzing their strengths and weaknesses. It was his way of coping, of holding onto his dream despite everything. Today, he was focused on All Might, trying to piece together the mystery of his quirk.
"All Might's quirk... it must be something incredible,"
Izuku muttered to himself, scribbling furiously.
"But what is it exactly?"
He was so engrossed in his thoughts that he didn't notice Katsumi and Izumi approaching.
Katsumi:Hey, Deku
Katsumi's voice broke the silence, laced with a mix of amusement and cruelty.
Izuku flinched, looking up to see Katsumi towering over him. Izumi stood beside her, arms crossed and a smirk on her face.
Izuku:K-Kaachan, Izumi... what do you want?
Izuku asked, trying to keep his voice steady.
Katsumi's eyes gleamed with a predatory light.
Katsumi:Just checking on my property
she said, her tone mocking.
Katsumi:What are you scribbling in that stupid notebook of yours?
Izuku swallowed hard, clutching his notebook tightly.
Izuku:Just... just some notes on heroes and their quirks.
Izumi snorted.
Izumi:You really think that stuff is going to help you? You're quirkless, remember?
Izuku's heart sank, but he forced himself to respond.
Izuku: i-I know, but... it helps me learn. It keeps me focused on my goal.
Katsumi rolled her eyes.
Katsumi:Your goal? You mean that ridiculous dream of becoming a hero? Give it up, Deku. You'll never be a hero.
Izuku's grip tightened on his notebook.
Izuku:I... I can't give up. It's my dream.
Izumi leaned in closer, her smirk widening.
Izumi:Your dream is a joke, Izuku. Everyone knows it. Even you should know it by now.
Katsumi laughed, a cruel sound that echoed in the classroom.
Katsumi:You're lucky I haven't let anyone else bully you. But don't get any ideas. You're still mine, Deku.
Izuku's eyes flickered with a mix of fear and determination.
Izuku:Why... why do you even care? Why do you keep me around?
Katsumi's smile turned cold.
Katsumi:Because it's fun to watch you struggle. You're like a little toy, always trying so hard but never getting anywhere.
Izuku felt a lump form in his throat.
Izuku:That's... that's cruel.
Katsumi:Welcome to reality, Deku
Katsumi sneered.
Katsumi:No one cares about your dreams. No one cares about you.
Izuku's vision blurred with tears, but he refused to let them fall.
Izuku:I... I care. And I won't give up.
Izumi shook her head, her expression almost pitying.
Izumi:You're delusional, Izuku. You'll never make it. You don't have what it takes.
