Izuku’s POV
I stood there, completely flustered, my face burning like a furnace as I stared at the group of girls in front of me.
Izuku:W-what are you talking about? M-me… train you guys?
I stammered, taking a small step back, feeling my back press against the wall.
“Yeah!” Mina exclaimed enthusiastically, her hands on her hips as she grinned at me. Standing beside her were Momo, Toru, Ochaco, Jiro, and Tsuyu—all of them looking at me expectantly, their expressions a mix of excitement and determination.
My heart pounded in my chest. Why me? Why now?
"W-why me?” I finally managed to squeak out, nervously scratching the back of my neck.
Momo stepped forward, her calm and composed demeanor only making me feel more nervous.
Momo:We’ve noticed how you’ve been training the guys
she said with a small smile.
Momo:You’ve been helping them get stronger, and it’s really inspiring.
“Yeah!” Tooru chimed in, her voice full of energy.
Tooru:We want to get stronger too, and we think you’re the perfect person to help us!
“B-but…” I trailed off, my mind racing as I tried to come up with a reason—any reason—why this was a terrible idea.
“C’mon, Izuku,” Ochaco said, stepping closer with a warm, encouraging smile.
Ochaco:It’ll be fun! And we’ll all get better together. You’re amazing at coming up with strategies and training exercises. You’re the best person for the job!
I glanced at Jiroh, hoping she might offer a more reserved opinion, but she just nodded, her hands in her pockets.
Jiroh:She’s right. You’ve been pushing the guys to improve, and it’s clear you know what you’re doing. We want that kind of training too.
Tsuyu tilted her head slightly, her wide eyes meeting mine.
Tsuyu:Kero. You’ve been working so hard, izuku. We’ve all seen it. We want to learn from you. Please don’t turn us down.
I felt like my brain was short-circuiting. This wasn’t something I’d ever expected. I wasn’t a professional trainer or anything like that. I was just trying to help my classmates where I could.
“P-please?” Toru added, her invisible hands clasped together as if she were begging.
I swallowed hard, my mouth suddenly dry. “O-okay,” I finally said, my voice barely audible.
Mina:What was that?
Mina asked, leaning in closer with a playful grin.
I cleared my throat and tried again, a bit louder this time.
Izuku:Okay. I’ll… I’ll see what I can do.
“Yay!” Ochaco cheered, clapping her hands together.
The others smiled and nodded, their excitement palpable.
Momo:Then we’ll meet at my place
Momo said, her voice calm but firm.
Momo:It’ll give us plenty of space to train without interruptions.
“Wait, wait,” I said, holding up my hands.
Izuku:Your place? Are you sure that’s okay?
Momo nodded.
Momo:Of course. It’s more than enough space, and it’ll be comfortable for everyone. Besides, I’ll provide refreshments and anything else we might need.
