Pond sat at his desk, signing documents with a focused expression. The cabin was quiet, the only sound the occasional rustle of paper. Suddenly, the door burst open with a screech.

Sora: “Babyyy!!”

Pond sighed, irritation clear on his face as he looked up from his work. He saw Sora, his fiancée, who had barged in without knocking.

Pond: (coldly) “Sora, why did you come into my office without knocking?”

Sora ignored his question and pranced over to him with a beaming smile.

Sora: “I was just thinking we could go shopping together! Come on, it’ll be so much fun!”

Pond's expression hardened.

Pond: “I’m busy. Go wherever you want, but don’t disturb me.”

Sora didn’t seem to register his words. She moved closer, attempting to hug him. Pond, clearly annoyed, stepped aside and pushed her lightly away.

Pond: “Don’t test my patience. Just go.”

At that moment, a knock sounded at the door, and Joong entered, his presence bringing a slight air of authority.

Joong: (noticing Sora’s demeanor) “What’s going on here?”

Sora immediately shifted her demeanor, looking sad and pitiful as she turned to Joong.

Sora: “Joong, Pond never has time for me. He’s always so busy and doesn’t care about our plans.”

Joong sighed and glanced at Pond, a look of concern on his face.

Joong: “Pond, you should spend some time with her. It’s important.”

Pond: (firmly) “Joong, you don’t know the full story. Please don’t meddle in this matter.”

Sora, undeterred, turned back to Pond.

Sora: “Can I have your credit card for shopping?”

Pond tossed the card at her without looking up.

Pond: “Just go and leave me alone.”

Sora took the card and, with a final pout, left the cabin.

As the door closed behind her, Joong shook his head in disappointment. He turned to Pond with a concerned expression.

Joong: “You know, you can talk to me about what’s going on. Maybe I can help.”

Pond: “I’m fine. Just...busy. Why are you here?”

Joong nodded, accepting Pond’s answer. They proceeded to discuss some business matters, and Joong soon left the cabin.

Left alone, Pond walked over to the large window along one wall of his cabin. He stared out at the sky with vacant eyes, the weight of his exhaustion evident in his posture. His thoughts were a tangled mess—caught between his duty and his personal discontent. The serene view outside contrasted sharply with the turmoil within him. He felt lost and overwhelmed, unsure of how to navigate the complexities of his life and relationships.
