The Taynew mansion was a vision of opulence and elegance, every corner meticulously decorated for the anniversary party. The evening was bustling with activity as guests began arriving, their excitement palpable.Yet, in the midst of this grand occasion, the hosts were nowhere near ready. Instead, Tay and New were locked in a classic bickering match, squabbling over the smallest of details like a pair of mischievous children.
Dunk, freshly dressed and polished, strolled in to find his parents in the midst of their argument. He couldn’t help but shake his head in exasperation. “Dad, Papa, can you please be serious for just one day? We’ve got a party to host!”
Tay, mid-sentence in his heated argument, paused and looked at Dunk with a mischievous glint in his eye. “Ah, you’re just jealous of how much we love each other. Aren’t you, baby?” He leaned over and planted a playful kiss on New’s cheek.
New grinned, giving Tay a loving nudge. “See? Even our son thinks our love is too much to handle.”
By this time, Phuwin and Gemini had arrived, both impeccably dressed and ready for the evening’s festivities. They found their parents’ antics rather amusing and decided to intervene.
Gemini, trying to maintain some semblance of order, addressed his parents. “Dad, Papa, please. It’s not just your special day, but also Dunk’s. Remember, you’re announcing his wedding date tonight.”
Tay’s face fell into a mock pout. “Oh, so now we’re stealing Dunk’s spotlight? I knew it! He’s just jealous of our love.”
Dunk groaned, feeling the weight of his life choices bearing down on him. “You’re the one who suggested this date to announce the wedding, not me. So, really, it’s not my fault.”
The playful argument continued until Phuwin stepped in with an authoritative yet good-natured tone. “Alright, enough! Can you please behave until the guests are gone? After that, you two can bicker all you want. But for now, we need to focus on welcoming the guests. The Aydins are on their way, and we have to be ready.”
Dunk looked over at Phuwin, curious. “How do you know the Aydins are on their way?”
Phuwin smirked slightly. “Fourth texted me.”
Dunk nodded in understanding. “Got it.”
Gemini, however, was less pleased with the situation. He shot a questioning look at Phuwin. “Why is Fourth texting you? He has his brother to bother. Why does he have to bother you?”
Phuwin chuckled and shrugged. “Maybe he just wants to make sure everything’s perfect. Besides, he’s excited about the party.”
Gemini’s expression softened but remained slightly suspicious. “Hmm. Well, just make sure he doesn’t steal my brother’s attention too much.”
Phuwin laughed softly. “I’ll do my best.”
With a final round of playful jabs and bickering, Tay and New finally started to settle down. Phuwin and Gemini took charge of ushering the guests in and ensuring everything was in order. The party, despite its chaotic start, was bound to be a memorable event, full of love, laughter, and perhaps a few more of Tay and New’s charming arguments.
As the party continued, Tay and New became the center of attention, greeting guests with their usual charm and warmth. The atmosphere was lively, with laughter and conversations filling the elegant space. Meanwhile, Gemini and Phuwin wandered through the house, ensuring everything was running smoothly. Gemini remained by Phuwin’s side, as Phuwin greeted guests and made small talk.
After a while, the crowd’s attention shifted to the entrance, where the Aydins were making their grand entrance. Known as one of the most influential families in the area, just behind the Tangsekyuen Group in prominence, their arrival was met with a mix of admiration and envy. The Aydins, impeccably dressed and exuding an air of sophistication, seemed to glide through the entrance with effortless grace.
Tay and New, immediately moved towards the Aydins to extend their warmest welcome. Phuwin and Gemini followed closely behind, ready to assist and make introductions.
“Ah, there you guys!” Tay greeted with a broad smile, extending his hand. “Welcome! We’re so delighted to have you here.”
New, standing beside Tay, added warmly, “Welcome, guys. I hope you’re finding everything to your liking.”
The head of the Aydin family, Earth, shook Tay’s hand firmly. “Thank you, Tay. New. The event is absolutely wonderful. You’ve outdone yourselves.”
The Aydins responded politely, engaging in light conversation and complimenting the party’s ambiance. The air was filled with an aura of mutual respect and admiration.
The conversation among the Aydins and Taynew flowed smoothly, with everyone exchanging pleasantries and discussing various topics.
