"He was actually receiving something from us that time," Shickler pointed out.

"See? I told you that you only act all polite like that when you are getting something from them," Alberu grinned.

"I also remain polite when the other party could easily kill me," Cale stated.

"That's not always true either, dongsaeng," Alberu grinned. "You were never polite to the White Star and his minions."

"Those bastards didn't deserve even an ounce of politeness or respect," Cale declared.

"But, human, you were polite and respectful when you were being Naru in Endable," Raon helpfully informed everyone. "You even called the White Radish 'uncle' and gave him a hug."

Stunned silence filled the room at the little dragon's words before the room exploded into a cacophony of laughter.

"I really want to see the thoughts going through Cale's head at that moment," Kim Rok Soo wheezed. "I bet he was thinking about killing him."

"He was definitely thinking about killing him," Rok Soo* agreed.

"Oooo...you think the voices in his head told him to kill the White Star?" Bud laughed.

"At least one of them was probably the voice of reason, since Cale managed to keep his cover intact then," Alberu chuckled.

"Good job, hyung," Cale* grinned. "You successfully convinced the enemy leader that you were his well behaved minion."

"Better than you could have done," Cale grumbled in embarrassment.

"You're probably right," Cale* agreed. "I'd have attempted it, consequences be damned, and probably gotten myself killed."

"I'd have done the same," Kim Rok Soo added.

"We'd better leave all future missions with infiltration and subterfuge as the main points to the two of us," Rok Soo* told Cale. "Our two idiot brothers can't be trusted not to get themselves killed and ruin the plan."

The affronted look on Cale* and Kim Rok Soo's faces had the room full of laughter again.

"Agreed," Cale nodded with a smirk. "Those two are definitely more suited for work requiring brawn than brain."

The amusement in the room continued as the 'brawny brothers' protested and the 'brainy brothers' teased. Absolutely no one in the room dared to point out that the group was talking as if there would definitely be future missions they'd be dealing with and they'd somehow all manage to be together for it in some way. They didn't want to tempt fate.

The large whale eyes of the Whale King, Shickler, moved toward Cale. Cale was smiling.

'What a strong pressure.'

"You thought that, but you acted as if I was just some regular old man you'd meet at the market," Shickler pointed out. "You didn't look intimidated in the slightest."

Shickler was the king of the ocean. He had a presence that could not be compared to the king of a kingdom that oversaw a small region of the Western continent.

Many in the room, especially those from the Roan Kingdom, sent glances toward the Zeds in the room at those words. That statement was definitely a subtle dig at Roan's current king, but the three kings remained unconcerned.

Several then remembered that the king was currently trying to come across as weak and harmless to fool whoever he was hunting, so he was most likely pleased by those words instead of offended.
