"Wait, you said you want to avoid them and then you are the one to offer them a lift to the capital?" Archie* asked.

"Yes."

"Why the hell would you do that?" Rasheel* asked in confusion.

"My plans changed. I figured helping them out and making sure they made it safely into the capital was another way I could screw Venion over," Cale replied. "It was beneficial for me since having Taylor take over the Marquis title would ensure Marquis Stan and Venion couldn't screw things up during the war either."

"I can see why you would have changed your mind," Alberu* commented.

Of course, he planned giving them their new hope anonymously. It was something he had learned from the dragon.

"Human, you learned something from me?" Raon asked excitedly.

"Of course. How could I not learn from a smart, great, and mighty existence such as yourself?" Cale told him with a pat. He then added a pat to each of the others too.

'Unless their lord has nothing to do and reveals me to them, there is no way that they will recognize me.'

"He didn't reveal who you were to us, but he was rather chatty about it," Cage informed them.

It was impossible for them to learn of his identity. How great was that? He should have done everything anonymously until now. Cale stepped into the ruins feeling like a massive weight had been lifted off his chest.

"Even doing things anonymously didn't work out for you, young master Cale," Taylor said with a laugh.

He could see people praying all around the area.

At that moment, Hans stealthily approached Cale and whispered to him.

"I just saw the eldest son of Marquis Stan's household."
"...How do you know about that person?"

Cale was truly surprised. Hans smiled before pointing to his eyes.

"Pretty much any and all information about the nobles is in my head. I could see a man being pushed on a wheelchair. It was weird that there was only one person with him, but I was able to see that there was a red snake crest on the wheelchair."

"That's very impressive," Litana told Hans.

"Thank you. That is one of the basics a butler should be able to do," Hans said.

"Hans."
"Yes, sir."
"You're better than you look."
"Thank you?"

"Why was that a question?" Pen* asked.

"I was unsure if I should really be happy about that and see it as a compliment or not. The way young master Cale said it, it sort of made me wonder if I look really unreliable," Hans answered.

"You're fine the way you are," Cale cut in.

The wide smile across Hans' face showed just how pleased he was with those words.

Hans shrugged his shoulders with a satisfied expression as he finished his report. He then asked Cale.

"What do you plan on doing?"

Cale could feel the left side of his face heating up, and looked in that direction. Choi Han was looking at him. Cale shook his head and answered both of them.

"Ignore them."

"But only this time. Next time we will invite them for a nice carriage ride," Bud teased.
